Just 68 miles (110 km) and 2.5 hours driving from Hanoi center, you will have a chance to enjoy beautiful landscapes in one of the most storied provinces in the north of Vietnam. Many backpackers choose Ninh Binh as a stop-over for their trip through Vietnam.
Stop in Hoa Lu, the capital of Vietnam in the 10th and 11th centuries, and explore the historic city on a guided tour, admiring its ancient Le and Dinh dynasty temples.

After lunch, set sail along the Ngo Dong River and cruise through the stunning landscapes of Tam Coc, with its jagged karst cliffs, lush rice paddies, and atmospheric caves, often called the 'Ha Long Bay of the interior.' and visit the Mua Cave on Dragon Mountain.

Everything was so smooth and hassle-free — from the pickup arrangements to the sightseeing schedule, everything was perfectly organized.
