4.00While the experience of their sigh was deeply impressive, the guide asked some questions on the bus, but didn’t really offer much in the way of information. She asked us to a different guide for touring the castle who was informative. There wasn’t really enough time to see as much of the castle and grounds as I had hoped due to the schedule of the tour. My recommendation for people would be to plan to travel back to Paris without the bus later in the day.

5.00Visiting the Palace of Versailles was an unforgettable experience! The palace is absolutely magnificent, and the gardens are breathtaking. The tour was very well organized, and our guide was excellent so knowledgeable and passionate about the history and stories of French royalty. I forgot our guide’s name, but they truly made the experience special. This was one of the highlights of my trip to France, and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Paris!

5.00The tour inside the palace was about 90-100 minutes, then you had 2+ hours on your own I the gardens. I wish it had been a guided tour in the gardens, but they are quite large. Some people rented bikes or golf carts, which seems ideal.

5.00Max was our tour guide. He did an excellent job describing the major paintings, statues, and relevant things around the palace. At the end, we had time to view some of the gardens around the palace. It was a bit cold, but the gardens were beautiful!!

5.00Our guide, George, was excellent! Not only did he provide excellent information regarding the palace, he also showed us pictures to provide visual effect of the message he's conveying. He also added a dose of humor to his presentation which is greatly appreciated! Do expect the palace to be very crowded regardless of the season due to its popularity. On the other hand, one must visit the gorgeous gardens! The view from the fountain outward to the the mini ponds are breathtaking!.
