Get ready to delight your taste buds, and learn how to cook a traditional French meal from scratch! Under the guidance of your experienced French chef, you will prepare a starter, main dish and dessert; and finish by enjoy your meal, of course! Should you include the Market Option, you'll also discover the local open-air market and get to select fresh ingredients for your dishes. These classes take place at the apartment of a French chef within Paris city limits; the name and address of your chef will be sent to you after your reservation is made. If you do not receive this information 72 hours within the date of your reservation, please contact us. In case of delay of more than 20 minutes, access to the class will be refused and no refund will be granted.

The Host/Chef (Jack) was a delight and very skilled. As a seasoned home chef myself I stilled walked away with some helpful hints and tool suggestions. Wonderful experience and the finished dishes were amazing!

Dominique is excellent host. Ingredients and explanations were very thorough. We had lovely evening learning new techniques in a pleasantly comfortable setting. Highly recommend this experience.

It was fantastic!!! file:///var/mobile/Library/SMS/Attachments/a9/09/23AF7B43-4926-44A7-8D28-D34E80AEBEB3/IMG_4277.jpg We started off at a famous bread bakery that wins award every year- the awards are actually listed in the window. Had the most incredible croissant we have ever ever had and then baguette- unreal! Then went to a chocolate store- omg the chocolate is 100-150$ per pound!!! It was unreal! Then he went into a specialty meat store and got insane salami, then went to a specialty cheese store and got 6 huge pieces of cheese and then to a wine shop. We had a table for the 7 of us and we learned all about the cheeses and wines - there was more baguette and we feasted on the salami cheese and wine- red and white depending on the cheese. We were there for at least 90 minutes all talking to each other and learning about each other and it felt like we were in a scene from a movie or a book that I just can’t put down. It was one of the most beautiful experiences I ever had traveling. Mathieu was just incredible with a great Joie de vivre! Tysm Margeiu

Dominique is a fabulous chef and person to spend the day with. He was very friendly and helpful and we enjoyed our experience cooking and attending the market with him very much. We are pescatarian and Dominique had no trouble accommodating. We made cantaloupe soup, fish with white beans, had a cheese tastings and made a fig tart. It was a highlight of our trip.
