• Beautiful cathedral. Tour experience needs improvement.

  The experience had the potential to be outstanding. The guide was extremely knowledgeable, but there were a few unanticipated difficulties from the group experience, i.e. no headsets provided either outside or inside the cathedral, difficulty in hearing the guide at times, guide not wearing an identifying cap or having a flag to help the group locate him (as there was a very large crowd waiting to enter), difficulty in keeping our small group together, and although our guide was not expected to accompany us into the cathedral, he did not ensure that we received the headset from the cathedral staff who refused to supply them. The guide spent approximately 45 minutes with us outdoors, which was fine, but one person had mobility issues and couldn't keep up. There was no voice amplification or headset for this portion either. We regret that he didn't supply any guidance for interior viewing. The cathedral is beautiful and we were glad to have the opportunity to tour it. Our other experiences with Viator have always been excellent, and our Viator guides have been outstanding in their ability to provide historical, cultural, and quality leadership

  We had an amazing experience with Nina! She was very informative, polite, and an overall joy of a tour guide. Would highly recommend using her when you come.

  We booked an audio tour. Received message to meet Viator rep at “statue”. Took several attempts to contact Viator to figure out which statue. Guide who met us told us indoor audio was not available and that she was going to give us a guided outdoor tour. If we wanted to go inside (which costs nothing), we had to wait in line like everyone else. She also told us we could purchase a tour inside directly from Notre Dame (later found out you need to reserve in advance). We did wait in line, which took almost an hour. Our outdoor guide, Nina, was wonderful but this is not what we paid for.

  It was a waste of money. We traveled in early November. I kept contacting viator because we didn’t have the tickets or audio link. They kept saying they send it 12 hours before. The morning of, we still didn’t have it. No one at the Cathedral knew anything about the voucher and just kept saying it’s free. We entered the church easily with no tickets. The audio link finally came but we had no way to share it so 2 of us couldn’t listen to it. The tickets arrived after we were done in the church.

  They sell it to you as if you could access it without queuing (in fact it says that expressly in the conditions) and then you find that the tickets they sell you are not valid for anything, the staff of Notre dame does not even know the Enterprise and no one responds to inquiries, so it is also a lie that they give you assistance in the Service. It is exactly the same as going without booking anything because the entrance to the cathedral is free and the queue you have to do anyway. Audioguide is very impractical, it is much cheaper to do a free walking tour and worth the experience. Don't fall for this scam. I made the claim and they rejected it without any grounds

  The entrance to Notre Dame is free, do not spend your money! I booked an audio guide in Spanish for my partner who speaks no English and did not get what we paid for. Even though in a paid and confirmed reservation it said tour in Spanish, audio guide available in 7 languages.

  Admission to Notre Dame is FREE, the audio guide on site costs € 6,- ..... we paid more than twice as a family via Viator..... too bad!!!!

  Very easy to book through the app. Great communication leading up to you trip and very clear directions on where to meet your guide. Our guide Nina was excellent, full of knowledge, not only about Notre Dame but also Paris.
