She was very knowledgeable and such a sweet person! We received a lot of history on the area as well as food and wine samples

Having been on other food tours, I expected more from this tour. It consisted mainly of having coffee in a garden, tasting 3 kinds of cheeses from a shop, 2 sweets from 2 different shops, and the highlight was having some wine and a charcuterie platter. However, I cannot say it was an experience.

We chose the hottest day of the year for this wonderful walk but it was worth it. Stocked up with plenty of water we met Isa at the Metro station. We had a small group which in our opinion makes for a much more personal and tailored experience and so it proved. Isa is a very good guide and speaks at length on many local topics and interesting history. The tour visits many local establishments where we sampled hidden tea gardens, local and regional delicacies, cheeses, cold plates and of course a glass of wine. In between we had the opportunity to learn much about this historical area and its colourful past residences. A must do tour if you want an in depth experience of this unique area. Excellent guide and very good follow up information emails/notes. Recommended.
