WINE TASTING IN PARIS has been elected best Tour in Europe in 2024 (category Culinary Tours and Experiences) The owner and guide, Thierry is a French certified sommelier and official wine instructor for Burgundy wines and he's fluent in English.
Perfect for wine and cheese lovers, this 1.5-hour tasting allows you to try four wines from four different French wine regions paired with various cheeses. This small-group activity takes place in a charming authentic wine shop in the Latin Quarter and has a maximum of 12 participants. This is the perfect lunch break you need when you are in Paris.
You will taste 4 wines: 2 whites and 2 reds and pair them with excellent farmer's cheeses.

5.00The tasting is in a very well appointed building in a nice part of Paris. Our group was only six, so there was plenty of chances to ask questions. The wines and cheeses were well chosen and paired, and absolutely delicious. The entire experience was very special, and was a highlight of our Paris visit. The tasting was conducted by Nina, a charming and very knowledgeable young woman, who did a marvelous job.

5.00Thierry was very knowledgeable and explained wine and cheese with enough detail that it was easily understood. The wines were good however the last one was a bit smoky. The cheeses were wonderful and complemented the wines exceedingly well..

5.00Even though we don’t claim any expertise, we truly enjoy wine, wines from the U. S., but especially the wines from Italy, France, and Spain. While we have gone to many tastings in both the U. S. and in Europe, we have never had both the pleasure of tasting and of learning about any country’s wines, or cheese, that we received in this wine and cheese pairing experience. And Terri, for all his knowledge, could not create an easier, more pleasurable way to learn from him. Relaxed, approachable, and just plain fun. I only wish we had done this on our first visit to Paris. And we would definitely do it again on our next. It is highly recommended; not to be missed.

5.00I would definitely recommend this wine tasting. I booked the wine/cheese combo. The host, Thierry, was very knowledgeable and presented things nicely, including with a flat screen tv that had maps and pictures of the various wine regions we tasted from. You don’t have to have any previous wine knowledge, he explained things well. My group had 6 people, which was perfect. Scott, Connecticut, USA
