Great tour to start off your trip to Penang. the abundance of food stalls can be overwhelming when you arrive, but Garrick did a great job of introducing all different types of street food to us. Highly recommend !

We had a wonderful time on our food tour with Ashlie. She was really easy to communicate with, friendly, knowledgeable and took us to so many delicious spots. It was a great way to start the trip!

we just arrived in Georgetown and wanted to start our street food experience off the right way. what an amazing 4 hours we had with Garrick, exploring hidden places and street food we would have never found by ourselves. after many different types of food (and some history and local architecture in the mix as well while we moved to the next place on the tour) the tour gave us confidence to get out there and try local Penang street food. thank you for a great tour !

The experience was exactly what we hoped for. Our guide was both knowledgeable and engaging he really knew how to tell a story and bring the local history to life as we walked between venues. The food selections were thoughtfully tailored to our tastes, which made the whole experience feel very personalised.

Garrick was great on guiding us around, each of the food we took had been carefully explained on their history and culture. We samples food that we wouldn’t usually try. Recommended tour to go with.

Carrick was incredible, with interesting information about the food and the restaurants and vendors. He gave local insight into culture and buildings, so it was about so much more than just the food. The food itself was delicious and there was a wonderful variety of local specialities. My teenage daughter and I enjoyed every single minute. Would highly recommend this tour to everyone.
