Enjoy visiting Penang Hill, the oldest British Hill Station in Southeast Asia, dated late 1700’s. The highest peak of Penang Hill stands at 833 meters (2,732ft) above sea level. The funicular track stretches a distance of 1,996 meters (1.99KM) from lower to Upper Station which is the longest in Asia. During the whole day, travelers will enhance their experience, maximizing the stunning views and resolving space needs. This is a Small-Group Tour limited to 15 people.

We were extremely annoyed - Viator took our money for 2 express funicular tix to Penang Hill , confirmed the booking but we were unable to Download the voucher or Contact Viator about this despite multiple attempts. We had to pay at the station for duplicate tix. Viator was useless. Wouldn’t book again thru them

Recommend purchasing ticket ahead as wait times are long! But they have a wonderful system in place to assure you see the most out of your ticket 👌🏻

Useless with viator if internet does not work and vocher will not ppen. Also no refund option. Go with someone else.

Yeah it was ok to fill in a few hours and the ride up was good and views spectacular…but once at the top it seemed a bit run down and a lot of the stalls and eateries were closed ( at least the day we went up they were ). Still not expensive if you get a Grab taxi, so worth a look. Get the tickets on the app and get express.
