After that, hop on horseback for a guided ride through Vesuvius National Park (500 meters above sea level), right by the very volcano that once stopped the ancient Romans in their tracks.

Pompeii Archaeological Park
Your day will begin with a visit in the Pompeii ruins, skipping the line into the site. Guided by an archaeologist, you’ll discover excavations and the secrets behind them that only an expert knows. During the tour, you’ll see the history of the town and how the Romans used to live. You will enter in their domus (ancient houses) and public buildings, creating an understanding of how they lived daily life.
Trecase
Finish the tour and you’ll continue your adventure in the Vesuvius National Park, where you’ll experience being close to nature, far from the city noise, surrounded by the sound of birds. Once you arrive at the ranch after a morning of walking, you’ll have time to relax and have a proper lunch made all by local products with homemade local wine! Then we will saddle up and jump on the horse to receive a little training. Once your comfortable, we will venture off into the park, taking in the sights, sounds and fresh scents of the land. The ride is suitable both for beginners and experts - we will be there to help you! You will receive a training and you'll be guided throughout this exciting excursion.

5.00One of the best ways to see Naples! Several people in my group gave me a hard time about riding a horse, but later they told me it was one of the best parts of the day. Sofia was amazing in helping us plan. We were concerned about getting back to our cruise ship in time, so she offered to arrange a private driver at a reasonable cost and we did the horseback riding first, then joined the others for the rest of the tour. It worked out perfectly! (TIP: our driver held up a sign with "Taste the Experience" instead of our name, so there was a little bit of confusion in meeting.) The horses were at a private riding school, and the people there were so friendly and helpful. My daughter was very nervous about riding a horse and one of the workers walked with her the entire way. Our tour guide in Pompeii was AMAZING. She's a third generation local, and her passion for the place was unmatched. She gave us lots of interesting facts and made sure we stayed hydrated in the heat. Afterwards, we were driven to the beautiful winery, where we had a sommelier explain the wines and had a delicious lunch. The kids in the group had soft drinks. We bought a case of wine (they ship for free!) and enjoyed the view of Mt. Vesuvius in the background.

5.00This was a unique way to visit Vesuvius and see the landscape - lunch was fantastic, so fresh and the wine was delicious. Bring water and a fan for visiting Pompeii, it gets very hot.

5.00This is the best day ever! There was something for everyone in our family. Horseback riding for our 11 year old, wine tasting for our adult child and us, and a wonderful history lesson for all of us with Teresa (an archeologist). The food was amazing and the scenery was gorgeous. Best day ever!

5.00A fantastic experience from start to finish. Punctual pickup, enthusiastic and knowledgeable guide for Pompeii. Incredibly experienced sommelier and lovely staff at the wine tasting. Peaceful venue with ocean and Vesuvius view, gardens and fantastic local food. Aleksandra at the riding school was very friendly and led me on a breathtaking tour of the vineyards. Definitely recommend
