We will pick you up from your hotel in Cusco city and begin the journey to Ollantaytambo
Ollantaytambo
We arrive in Ollantaytambo ready to get the famous train to the start point of the hike.
Once off the train, we head to our first ruin of the inca trail- Chachabamba. You will enjoy a guided tour here before embarking on the short Inca Trail hike.
Winay Wayna
After hiking for several hours, we arrive to Wiñay Wayna, one of the most iconic ruins on the Inca Trail. From here you will have a chance to explore the ruins- from top to bottom!
Inti Punku Sun Gate
We arrive at the highest point of the hike, and the iconic doorway to Machu Picchu. Inti Punku is where you will have your first glimpses of Machu Picchu and a well deserved rest, before winding your way down into the citadel.
Machu Picchu
We made it! You will get to explore circuit 1 at your leisure before making your way down to Aguas Calientes (bus included)
Aguas Calientes
We finally arrive to Aguas Calientes where you can rest up for the evening- or head off to the hot springs, explore the markets, or grab a celebratory cocktail. However you like!
Machu Picchu and return to Cusco
Machu Picchu
We head up the mountain nice and early, so that you can enter Machu Picchu at first light, enjoying a guided tour of the citadel and exploring at your leisure.
Cusco
After you have explored Machu Picchu to your hearts content, we head back down the mountain and return to Cusco, with hotel drop-off included.

5.00Our trip is not an option here. We did four days, three nights. Every possible expectation that could be exceeded was exceeded. Amazing. Nilton is a fantastic guide and the entire journey was a dream. So grateful. Would recommend 11/10.

5.00Mike and Renato were absolutely fantastic. It was a childhood dream they made true, and all I had to do was follow their instructions, show up and enjoy the adventures. Their recommendations were great, the logistics were on point, the planning was flawless, and the experience of the drivers and guides was a huge plus. I am definitely coming back with them. 10 our of 10!

5.00We did the Short Inca Trail , and it was truly one of the highlights of our trip to Peru. Our guide, Nilton, was extremely knowledgeable about the local flora and the history of the Inca civilization. His explanations along the trail and especially at Machu Picchu were engaging, detailed, and insightful. Thanks to Nilton, we left with a much deeper understanding and appreciation of this incredible site. The tour company organized everything with great precision – from transportation to equipment and timing. The hotel in Aguas Calientes was clean, comfortable, and of high quality, with excellent service.Communication with the company’s office before and during the trip was clear and responsive Highly recommended for anyone looking for a well-organized and enriching experience on the Inca Trail.

5.00The most amazing two days of my life. Machu Pichu has been #1 on my bucket list for over 30 years, and I am so glad I chose Cusco Native to make this dream come true. My guide, Alcides, was amazing. So very knowledgeable about the plants and animals along the way, not to mention about Machu Pichu itself. Thank you to him and to Cusco Native for everything!

5.00We booked our short Inka trail through Cusco Native Tours, and have zero regrets. Angeles was quick to respond to any questions I had. The tour was more of a boutique, compared to other companies' offerings, as they only do small groups, it was just the two of us on our hike. Alcides was our guide, we couldn't ask for someone better to take us on the hike. He was super kind, patient, funny and very knowledgeable. He went out of his way to ensure we had a amazing time, especially with the weather. Couldn't be happier with our choice, thank you Cusco Native!
