Furthermore, we can acquaint ourselves with the culture of the area by visiting the Ethnographic Museum housed in the House of the League.
Sinan Pasha Mosque
Embark on a journey of authentic exploration and visit the renowned "Stone Bridge of Love" and the Traditional Bazaar of Prizren. Located around the majestic Sinan Pasha Mosque, this is the most captivating and historically enriched part of Prizren. Wander down the ancient streets of the old city and marvel in the colourful traditional bazaar, where charming handcrafts and exquisite perfume shops line every corner.
Pristina
Situated around 260 Kilometers away from Tirana lies the capital and largest city of Kosovo: Pristina. Habited since the Old Stone Age, from the ancient Vinča culture, it is one of the most riveting archaeological and historical sites. Situated in the heart of Pristina, the grand Library brims with over two million copies of materials, some dating as far back as the 15th century. Its architecture is a prime example of Yugoslavian Brutalism and is a masterful synthesis of Byzantine, Ottoman, and Serbian design, making it a veritable microcosm of the city. Since 1982, the Library has served as the National Library of Kosovo and continues to offer a majestic glimpse into its past.
Newborn Monument

Its rich culture is also evident in its many ancient Muslim mosques, dating as far back as the 14th century, providing insight into the devout faith of many of its citizens.
Skopje

Skopje
Skopje city centre walking tour. We will walk around the city centre to enjoy the two sides of the city .
Memorial House of Mother Teresa
The hallowed Mother Teresa Memorial House stands as a tribute to the revered Catholic saint and Nobel Peace Prize laureate in her beloved hometown of Skopje, North Macedonia, where she spent her formative years from 1910-1928. Situated on the Macedonia Street in the Centar municipality, the memorial house occupies the site of the Sacred Heart of Jesus Roman Catholic Church, the very church in which Mother Teresa was baptized.
Old Bazaar - Skopje
The Skopje Old Bazaar is one of the oldest and largest marketplaces in the Balkans and during its hay-days, it was the second-largest bazaar in the world (only behind Istanbul’s Kapalicarsi). It has been Skopje’s trade and commerce hub since the 12th century. Throughout the years, the city developed around the Old Bazaar area and even today, this is still the heart of the city, both literally and figuratively. In addition to its importance as a marketplace, the Old Bazaar is also famous for its historical and cultural significance. Here, you can find some of Skopje’s oldest buildings, including remains of Byzantine architecture, medieval mosques and churches, interesting museums, and even some modern architecture.
Ohrid
after 3 hours and a half of travelling we will reach the historical city of Ohrid, where for centuries the cradle of different cultures converges together. Founded from the presence of Ilirain and Greek tribes, throughout its history it has been subject to the influence of various empires - from the Roman, Byzantine, Bulgarian, Turkish, Serbian, Yugoslavian and finally, as part of the Independent Republic of North Macedonia. Perched atop the hills of the city, Ohrid has been standing since the rule of Bulgarian Tsar Samuil in the 10th Century.
St. Jovan Kaneo
Perched atop the precipice of Kaneo Beach, facing Lake Ohrid in the ancient city of Ohrid, North Macedonia stands a majestic church devoted to John of Patmos, the author of Revelation, who some believe to be the esteemed John the Apostle.
Ohrid
Venture to the City center and the venerable Old Bazaar area, where we can observe the traditional dwellings of Ohrid. Much of the city is laid with Stone, explaining why it was initially known as Lyhnidas, derived from Latin (an exquisite gemstone radiating brightness).

A great opportunity to experience 2 countries that are not tourist hotspots….but WOW they should be. The natural beauty, history and culture were amazing! Giulio was fantastic, not only because of his perfect English and wealth of knowledge but also because he had a real “care factor” wanting to do his best to make the trip as memorable as possible. I thoroughly recommend the trip….and Giulio

The logistics of the trip are very well organized and the guide was good, but it is too many hours on the road. We spent more time on the road than in the cities we met. Don’t come in November, we did practically the whole tour in the rain and also because of the rain the road time became longer.

It is a great way to see North Macedonia and Kosovo in two days, as they are not easy distinctions to go, especially if you are tight for both time and money. The town and Lake Ohrid are awesome. Skopje also has interesting stories. We learnt extraordinary stories about Mother Teresa. Another highlight is the ancient town of Prizren, a real jewel. Our guide Skerdie is great, which helped us to understand the places, the people, and the history. Overall, it was a very memorable trip.

Really recommended. The booking process led by Skerdi, who had a lot of patience and answered all my concerns, gave me all the information I needed to make the same. Giulio, the guide, was really remarkable. This young boy always knew how to answer my concerns, explaining in perfect English each place we visited, giving me a socio-cultural context of the history of these 3 countries. (Albania, Kosovo and North Macedonia). I was able to learn a lot about a very different culture from Latin-American, as well as visiting very nice places. Really recommended. Had an amazing time traveling and exploring with friends. Our tour guide, Skerdi, was an excellent host and very knowledgeable – I left the trip smarter than when I arrived! The trip route was well organized and we’ve spent just the right amount of time at each location. Will definitely book through this company on my next visit to Albania and the Balkan Region!

A great opportunity to visit 4 interesting sites in Kosovo and North Macedonia with a knowledgable guide. We enjoyed seeing all places, with Skopje being our favourite. Our guide took the stress out of the tour - with the driving, handling of passports at borders, recommendation of great local restaurants, help with me ordering vegan food etc. It was a great experience, would very much recommend.

A really memorable experience visiting North Macedonia and Kosovo. I enjoyed seeing what both countries had to offer. Ohrid lake is really picturesque, the many statues in Skopje are really interesting, including the huge Alexandar the great one in the square. Kosovo has a lot of really interesting recent political history in Pristina and in Prizren there is some interesting architecture, as well as Albanian history. Skerdi was an excellent guide, nothing was ever to much trouble for him and he went out of his way to ensure I got to see everything that I wanted to in all of the stops. Hotel that was included in the price was also of a good quality. I would recommend this tour to anyone who wants to experience these two very interesting countries, I was able to learn a lot of interesting Albanian history which was a bonus.
