At the end of the tour you will have a traditional lunch in a "Trattoria." Lunch consists of typical local products: cheeses, salami, ham, sun-dried tomatoes from Taormina, olives, homemade bread, a portion of parmigiana, a portion of caponata, pasta alla norma, local wine and for dessert, lemon sorbet.

This was a fabulous tour given by knowledgeable guides Davide and Leonardo. Both men provided us with a very personalized and friendly tour. We never felt rushed. Rather, they kept telling us that “today is your day”. We moved from place-to-place at our pace, not theirs. We very much enjoyed spending our day, and our lunch, with them. They wanted to give us time to ourselves during lunch, but we could not exclude them. Thank you Davide and Leonardo!

This was by far the best tour we have ever taken! Marco is incredibly knowledgeable about the entire region as well as the Godfather trilogy. He led us through the region and filled us in on the true background of the making of the movie as well as insights into the mafia’s hold on Sicily. As a local, he introduced us to all the shopkeepers and we even bumped into the actress who played Apolonia’s mother in the film! She was a charming old lady who invited us into her home, showed us photos from her Godfather shoot, and even crooned the Godfather theme song to us in Italian!!! Priceless! Marco was attentive and thoughtful, and he surprised us at the end of the tour by driving by a hillside of blooming amaryllis because he knew I loved plants and flowers. We can’t say enough good things about charming Marco and the tour!

Our tour guide [email protected]”Bruno” Was so friendly, so fun and really gave us a beautiful tour of Sicily especially the history behind the Godfather. We started off by seeing a beautiful church walking in a little village Start off with an espresso. Then we moved onto aStart off with an espresso. Then we moved onto a beautiful café, where the Godfather The Godfather was filmed. We had a beautiful private lunch with fresh pasta.
