Mutianyu Great Wall
Our professional and friendly driver, along with a knowledgeable English - speaking guide, will meet you at the hotel lobby. The guide will introduce themselves and briefly go over the day's schedule, answering any initial questions you may have. You will be comfortably transferred to the Mutianyu Great Wall in a private, air - conditioned vehicle. during which the guide will share some background information about Beijing and the Great Wall, getting you excited for the adventure ahead.
With our VIP access, you will bypass the long shuttle bus queues, saving you precious time. Your guide will lead you through the entrance and start the exploration of this world - renowned wonder. The Mutianyu Great Wall is one of the best - preserved sections of the Great Wall of China. Built in the 14th century during the Ming Dynasty. The wall here is characterized by its well - maintained watchtowers, some of which are connected by covered walkways. The scenery around Mutianyu is spectacular, surrounded by lush forests that change colors with the seasons, offering a breathtaking backdrop as you walk along the wall. Upon arriving at the Great Wall, you have the option to take the cable car up and down, or take the ropeway up to the Great Wall and experience the speed by sliding down the slide. Once on the Great Wall, follow your guide to explore the watchtowers and take pictures. The guide will also set aside some time for you to explore freely on your own.

5.00It was all perfect, the guide was excellent, very dear, the super responsible driver in the direction. They were super punctual and the walk was great. We didn't have any kind of problem, everything really great.

5.00Amazing tour with our great guide George!!!! We went to the Tianamen Square and Forbidden city, and the next day he brought us to the Great Wall through VIP lane without a queue!!! George was also kind enough to take us to a Tea Center, and scheduled a massage to our hotel. Highly recommended, 10/10 experience!!!

5.00This was a top notch tour. Lily was our guide and she was fantastic. Sun was our driver & he got us everywhere. We booked at the last minute when we realized we had a long layover in Beijing & wanted a personalized tour & we were so pleased with the results. We were picked up on time, had bottled water, fruit, & snacks the whole day. It was just smooth and easy. She knew where to go, always had our tickets ready & we could just enjoy ourselves. We went to the Great Wall & Ming tombs. Lily was so knowledgeable about them & was able to answer any of our questions about the history of the Great Wall & Tombs. We went to a Jade factory & saw how the Olympic medals were made! Lunch was provided & was fantastic! We had food allergies & Lily navigated that for us! Such a great day! We traveled abroad for a month & this was one of our favorite memories. We will be back & look forward to seeing Lily & Sun again! Thank you for a wonderful & memorable day!

5.00Martin was very knowledgeable and friendly. He made our trip to the Great Wall very easy and was extremely helpful throughout. We very much enjoying our private tour and would definitely recommend Martin to anyone wanting an insightful and helpful guide.

5.00It was honestly a perfect day to go to the wall. There was a cool breeze and the sun wasn’t blazing hot. There were people but not overly crowded. My guide was Lucy who was fantastic! She was so nice, knowledgeable and patient (it’s a lot of stairs, I needed a break at times). Lucy absolutely knows her history and answered any questions I had. And she’s a great photographer and knows the best spots on the wall to take those pics! The lunch is delicious, be ready to eat a lot cause the servings are big! The Summer Palace was extremely crowded but Lucy found a way to show me everything without going into the huge crowds. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone and ask for Lucy!

5.00I visited China alone and was looking for a way to see the great wall. This is the best tour to pick if you want to go to the less crowded area with better views. My tour guide Linda told me all about the history of the wall and China as a whole. It was a very fun and educational experience that I recommend to anyone.

5.00I did this tour on a Saturday afternoon in April with my wife and grown up son. We were met in our hotel lobby and driven in comfort in a spacious people carrier about an hour outside Beijing. The weather was good and despite it being a weekend there were no queues and not that many people on the wall. Our guide, Jimmy, was very helpful, friendly and informative. We spent 2 hours walking at our own pace on the Great Wall. It was a great experience which was nicely rounded off with the tobaggan ride down. I would thoroughly recommend this tour to anyone, especially if you have limited time in Beijing.

5.00My husband, colleague and I recently did this tour and it was wonderful! Our tour guide, Linda, was perfect. She was extremly knowedable about history, current events, the city, etc. She was really fun to spend the day with and made our experience that much better! She called our hotel the night before to ensure we were prepared. She arrived promptly at our scheduled meeting time. Visiting the great wall was amazing, Linda provided a lot of great information and was able to answer all of our questions about history, current events, etc. After visiting the wall we stopped for lunch and we agreed it was one of our favorite meals during our 10 day stay in China. The visit to the summer palace was an unexpected treat as we didn't know what to expect. Our guide was once again incredibly knowledgeable and that made the experience even better. On our way back to our hotel our guide was able to help us with suggestions for dinner, shopping, etc. I strongly suggest this tour -- and ask for Linda!

5.00This tour is the best we have done at Beijing. An amazing place that you must visit. The guide Becky was very nice with us and had a great knowledge which make the tour an unforgettable memory. Transport and food were also great. Highly recommended!
