We were picked up from our hotel by Jimmy our guide who took us to Longqing Gorge. During our time we cruised up the river and back. Climbed to a few temples which had awesome views with the help of the cable car. We finished with an excellent local unch then had a peaceful trip back to the hotel. It was a great day as there were not many people around and we had most of it to ourselves. Our guide Jimmy was great and he looked after us well. It was a great trip to finish on after a hectic few day in Bejing.

I’ve always wanted to see the scenic mountains with an iconic river in between like some of the Chinese paintings I’ve seen and this tour did not disappoint. Not only did I get to experience it with a boat ride, I was able to see the temple there as well. Tom, our tour guide, is very knowledgeable and personable. He guided us through the tour without any hiccups. I’m really glad I chose this tour as part of my Beijing experience.
