5.00This was an awesome experience! By going with a private driver, we had flexibility throughout the day to focus on what was most important to our group. Our driver Donatello was incredible!! He was so friendly, professional, and outgoing! He taught us so much and was so patient with us, especially having a toddler and older adults with us, that sometimes pushed us behind schedule. I would hire Donatello again for any other trip!

5.00Marco was our guide to Pisa, Siena, and San Gimignano. He is very friendly and knowledgeable of the entire Tuscan region. He pointed out many historical sites and explained different cultural aspects of each area during our drive. It takes an hour (and sometimes almost 2 hours) to get between each city. This makes for quite a lot of time in the vehicle. This tour is self-serve once you arrive at each stop. I think it’s important to understand that it’s not a walking tour where your guide stays with you in each city. This can tend to get a little overwhelming because it’s hard to really know what you’re looking at and what is a must see besides the obvious (tower of Pisa, Siena main square, etc.). This is a worthwhile tour to see the Tuscan landscape outside of Florence if you have the time to dedicate to it.
