Summer Palace (Yiheyuan)

Continue your tour to the Summer Palace, originally a royal garden and a temporary dwelling palace for emperors of Qing Dynasty. Along the way, your guide will share with you the history about this beautiful attraction. You will also enjoy a boat ride on the famous Kunming Lake If the season allows. After visiting the Summer Palace, stop by Bird Nest and Water Cube (the Beijing National Stadium) on the way back to your hotel.

Dennis was a guy that I would recommend He took us to the pandas and the summer house Never have been in and out of a zoo so fast but check check done we saw the pandas two of them Summer house was much more than we anticipated. His knowledge was fast and interesting. Highly recommend him.
Made the best with unfortunate experience.

The tour guide and driver were on time to pick us up at the hotel. Pandas weren't very active, but it was pretty hot and I think they just wanted to be inside where it was cooler. I unfortunately became ill at the Summer place. Our tour guide did the best she could. She took the rest of the party to see what they could see. She then arranged with the driver to pick us up at the closer exit so I didn't have to walk far. My illness was out of the tour guides control, but she made the best for the others in our party.

Linda was a great tour guide. She was friendly and helpful in guiding us throughout the summer palace and the zoo. She was patient with our son and truly considered his interest. thank you Linda and this wonderful touring company.

It was a rainy day in Beijing but that didn’t stop this private tour from being a success! I just moved here in August and had a friend visiting. Maggie (tour guide) and Mr. Xu (driver) picked us up from my apartment right on time and took great care of us. Mr. Xu managed the Beijing traffic (and rain) very well and Maggie gave us lots of fascinating information. She was able to answer our questions and was overall very pleasant. We chatted before the trip via WhatsApp and shared photos with us on there as well. I would highly recommend this tour and when I have more visitors, I will look for tours by Maggie.

Even though it was a super rainy day, we had the best experience with our guide Maggie and driver Xu! We thought we wouldn’t see the pandas as it was raining but we got so lucky and Mung Lai came out for us! Then we went to the summer palace and Maggie knew every piece of information and more. We learned a lot and she also helped us take great photos 🤗🤗 I loved the VIP service of the pick up and drop off, it really helped us maximize our time. Super convenient! Highly recommend.
