Fushimi Inari-taisha Shrine
You can see Japan's background that is off-limits to ordinary tourists after the tour. This short trip is a fantastic and great value way of experiencing Fushimi Inari-taisha Shrine! We are here to help you discover new things, the Fushimi Inari Shrine is so more than its famous tunnels of vermillion-red torii gates. Most people are satisfied by a scenic view of it. But this has a lot of stories to tell that will connect you to the Japan's history and culture and your guide will show you deeper. You will see a fascinating story attached to the origin of the shrine dedicated to the god of grains – that’s what “Inari” means – . This is also why you’ll see statues of the fox around the shrine. “Kitsune” or the fox is a servant to the god Inari. They are cunning tricksters, clever minded animals who make perfect guides for the treacherous business world. You may would want the foxes on your side after this tour.

Great custom private tour of Kyoto! Kazz, our tour guide, was super knowledgeable, friendly, and patient with our family of four. We had an excellent driver as well and the van was clean and spacious. They were prepared for morning rain and went above and beyond during our tour. The sushi lunch option was a big hit with the family. Overall we are glad we hired this company and are grateful to Kazz and our driver for an amazing day!

Olive was absolutely fantastic and went above and beyond to craft a personalized experience for our family. She reached out soon after I booked the tour and asked thoughtful questions about our interests and preferences. Our situation was a little atypical: my wife and I had been to Kyoto before, but our kids hadn’t, and none of us were interested in fighting through big crowds who just wanted to take pictures. We were hoping for something quieter and more meaningful that would help us all appreciate Kyoto in a new way. After a few messages back and forth, Olive came up with a wonderful itinerary tailored just for us. She even made sure to learn our food preferences so that lunch would be spot-on. A few days before the tour, she followed up again to confirm all the details. The day itself was perfect. Each of us came away with a favorite place. I really liked Daitoku-ji. Olive kept checking in throughout the day to make sure we were enjoying ourselves and not missing anything. She even had a backup plan ready, just in case. In the end, we had an unforgettable day, learned so much from Olive, and created some great memories. Olive's itinerary for us was perfect. We each had our favorite: mine was Daitoku-ji. I appreciated that she surveyed everyone throughout the day to make sure that we were seeing what we wanted to see and not missing anything. She had backup plan worked out just in case. In the end, we had an amazing day, learned a lot from Olive, and made great memories.

We spent a wonderful day with our tour guide Sam. Even though it was raining (I mean pouring) the entire day, we still saw so many sights and learned so much. It definitely helped having a car to get around. Sam took us to a great lunch place and we really enjoyed our time with him.
