Fushimi Inari-taisha Shrine
You can see Japan's background that is off-limits to ordinary tourists after the tour. This short trip is a fantastic and great value way of experiencing Fushimi Inari-taisha Shrine! We are here to help you discover new things, the Fushimi Inari Shrine is so more than its famous tunnels of vermillion-red torii gates. Most people are satisfied by a scenic view of it. But this has a lot of stories to tell that will connect you to the Japan's history and culture and your guide will show you deeper. You will see a fascinating story attached to the origin of the shrine dedicated to the god of grains – that’s what “Inari” means – . This is also why you’ll see statues of the fox around the shrine. “Kitsune” or the fox is a servant to the god Inari. They are cunning tricksters, clever minded animals who make perfect guides for the treacherous business world. You may would want the foxes on your side after this tour.

Highly recommend this tour if you want to cover a lot of sites. Ken and his driver were fantastic. Ken created the schedule after we gave our wish list of things to see. We really enjoyed learning all the history of Kyoto. Could spend a week in Kyoto and not see it all. With the temperature in the 100degree area it was such a pleasure to be taken by air conditioned car to each place. Don’t think we would have made it to more than 2 sites without Ken and a driver because the heat would have been too much. this was worth every penny.

Our tour with Kazuo was absolutely outstanding. His deep knowledge of the city’s history, culture, and hidden spots made the experience both educational and unforgettable. Kazuo was engaging, flexible, and genuinely passionate—bringing every site to life, from Emperor Palace to quiet area in Gion. This guide also gave excellent local recommendations that took us off the beaten path. If you’re visiting Kyoto, don’t miss the chance to tour with them. Truly a five-star experience

Sooooo happy we chose this company for our tour day. Harumi helped us plan a fun and interesting day, and was totally helpful, educational, and charming throughout the actual tour. We wish we could have spent even more time with her! Ito was a perfect driver - kept the car cool for us and helped us find a wonderful lunch spot along the way. Our memories of Kyoto will be forever enhanced by the kindness and service of those two. Very pleased!

Yoshi is the BEST private tour guide we have ever had! We have done a lot of cruises and land tours and Yoshi is the best! Yoshi is so nice from the time he met us at the train station to the point where he went out of his way to walk us to the restaurant we picked for dinner. We wish he could have joined us for dinner! He was also very helpful in carrying my granddaughter’s stroller and lending us his umbrella. He is a great asset to your tour company!

Wonderful experience! Ken made sure we saw everything on the list but he added so much to the experience with his personality and insights into the culture and history.
