5.00This tour exceeded all my expectations! Imagine: you're riding in a comfortable minivan, and real royal castles are passing by outside the window! Chambord is of incredible scale and features that very staircase by Da Vinci that takes your breath away. Chenonceau, soaring over the river, is elegant and romantic. And Amboise, with its history and Leonardo's tomb, creates a feeling of touching eternity. Our guide was a walking encyclopedia; his stories brought the walls to life. And the wine tasting at the end of the day was the perfect aperitif before the journey back. The gift is a sweet reminder of the trip. It was a day of complete immersion in the Renaissance era!
