A guided tour through the most iconic Roman monument in the fascinating night atmosphere after the regular opening hours when the crowds are gone.
You will meet your tour Coordinator outside the Colosseum metro station just across the street from the monument. After a brief introduction, our friendly guide will accompany you to the skip-the-line entrance, for fast lane access.
Once inside, begin your tour below ground and explore the Colosseum’s tunnels, chambers and pits. This section of the Colosseum is restricted to the public and only allows a limited number of visitors each day, so enjoy this exclusive chance to see more than most people do.
Admire the lifts that brought to life Rome’s hunting games. Next you will have access to the reconstructed portion of the arena floor to hear the stories of the bloody gladiatorial battles.
You'll stand in the very same spot where the games took place. This is a unique experience reserved to a restricted number of visitors. Don't miss it !

5.00The only way to see the colosseum! I had only toured it during daylight hours and with the hot weather of August we thought maybe a night tour would be fun. Our girls first time to Rome and the evening tour didn't disappoint. Highly recommend!!!

1.00This was absolutely disappointing . Discover Rome Tours confirmed multiple times with multiple tickets our 8pm your reservation when we arrived they told us that our tour would be later and they messaged me on WhatsApp only a few hours before. This was the day we arrived and centered our entire day around it. We were also traveling with a 5 month old. After expressing our frustration, Matthew (if that’s his name told us we could file a complaint for a refund). Just try to book directly with the Colosseo and do not use a third party. We were a party of 8 and are waiting for a refund since the your I reserved was one they did not have tickets for us for. DO NOT BOOK.

5.00Excellent opportunity to see the colosseum at night, small group and cooler time of day in august. Lovely guide who was super informative. Saw the underground areas and some new exhibits.
