5.00Marco was an exceptional guide. He taught us about authentic Roman food, including norcinerias, famous for their pork products and traditional cured meats, or salumi—a tradition adopted from Norcia, Italy. He also introduced us to specialties sold in the Roman street market like pistachio paste, truffle seasoning, various types of olive oil and locally-flavored sauces. We indulged in croquettes, Roscioli’s pizza, Jewish-Roman artichokes and gelato served in a shop with novelty flavors. Additionally, we learned about the history of areas we visited. Marco was lively and engaging. He spoke audibly, clearly and with humor. The tour was very informative and helped us to choose where and what we ate in Rome more discernment.

5.00Marti our tour guide is a wonderful storyteller, weaving history and interesting information about the locations we visited and the food we tasted. The food was excellent. You definitely don’t need lunch after this !! (we did the 11am tour) The tour was nicely paced and Marti ensured that we could hear everything he said. I can strongly recommend this tour as a great way to experience Rome and its unique foods

5.00A sensory experience of magnificent tastes and delights! This is an absolute must do! A generous plate of foods at every stop! A lot of thought had gone into how Mattia presented the various foods to us ..wine and beer too! Definitely a top activity! Thankyou !
