Originally developed as a fort for the Cordoban governors of Seville in 913, the Royal Alcázar of Seville is an amazing fusion of Christian and Moorish architecture. It was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1987, and it has been renovated numerous times over the 11 centuries since its creation.

4.00Beautiful palace. Well worth the trip. It would be nicer if the numbered places in the audioguide would be also posted around the palace. It was hard to follow in certain instances. We had no idea where we were. Went with the flow. Last minute, we found the tapestry rooms. We were told that the palace is closing however, the very nice guard allowed us to take a quick picture before we left.
The palace had stunning...

3.00The palace had stunning architecture but the the gardens weren’t particularly well kept.Whilst it was an experience it was quite expensive for what it was.It was 40 degrees plus and 5euros for 2 bottles of water left you feeling like you had had your pants pulled down.
Beautiful, but spend some money on tech

4.00Beautiful property. If not so impressive, it would be 3 star rating. Self guided audio tour was clunky, disjointed and not as easy to follow and navigate as at other major historical sites. Was spending more time on phone screen trying to follow navigation vs actually visually taking in. Got impatient and just found myself wandering.
Don’t book. They cancel last minute. Did not get to see it.

1.00They canceled the tour. Could not see it, this was one of two companies that canceled. We were not able to see bc we could have booked in advance but depended on those companies. Don’t book with them. Book direct so they don’t ruin your trip.
