Each year approximately 20,000 gray whales migrate from the Bering Sea to the lagoons of Baja California and back again. Come witness this amazing journey off the coast of San Diego on this educational whale watching excursion.

Chances of spotting a whale are exactly the same, whether you choose the morning or afternoon departure. Whales don't wear watches.

Same goes for the days of the week. Each day has an equal chance of sightings. Whales do not have calendars.

In the unlikely event that your departure is cancelled due to poor weather conditions, we do our best to contact you in the morning at the phone number you provide. We will reschedule your tour for another day if you like or provide you with a full refund—your choice.

Guests with wheelchairs can access the vessel and interior main deck. However, the exterior top deck and the restrooms are not ramp accessible.

No touching the whales. No feeding the whales. No petting the whales. This is whale watching. We watch with our eyes.

Enjoy breathtaking view of the beautiful San Diego Bay before departing out into the ocean where you will have the chance to see whales, turtles, dolphins and so much more! Please not the bathrooms are not accessible for wheelchairs. Flagship's whale watching cruises are educational and fun for the whole family. We suggest dressing in layers. The temperature and winds can be unpredictable even if it's sunny out.

medication - If you may be prone to seasickness, plan ahead. Medication only works when taken BEFORE boarding the vessel. Wristbands for motion sickness also can be effective. Either can be purchased at any drug store.

Fabulous staff. Great experience fair price. We saw a number of whales a stampede of dolphins. We had many photo opportunities. I was grateful for the dramamine.

It was a beautiful relaxing day with sightings of grey whales, dolphins, and sea lions. We were told exactly where to look at just the right time! All the crew was friendly and helpful. Enjoyed our day!

Very well-organized excursion..... Becca was outstanding as our host guide, explaining the bay and open ocean, finding pods of dolphins, and the migration of the whales from Alaska to Mexico.

We really enjoyed seeing gray whales and dolphins on our trip. It was a great experience and most beautiful day. Our trip guide, Rafael, did an awesome job narrating our journey.

Great experience! Seen dolphins and whales. Raphael was a great guide. A bit massive but excellent for this price and you can't expect a smaller trip.

Comfortable and big 100ft boat with excellent crew, including information about land sites and marine life. We appreciate Ocean Connectors staff sharing knowledge and hands-on items about marine life. Beautiful day and calm sea were a bonus.

We had a perfect morning! Having gorgeous weather definitely helped, but the experience on board was wonderful. The naturalist (I wish I had caught her name) was wonderful in giving information, not only educating us about the sea life we saw, but also providing interesting details about what naval vessels we passed on our excursion. She had such a pleasant, easy-going manner that I felt very comfortable asking questions. I loved that she showed us what actual baleen looks like! And of course the real stars of the show were the whales and dolphins. Such amazing creatures! I am so glad we got to get a glimpse into their world.
