Mesmerising to see all those both regional native and general Australian Sea Life! Definitively worth a visit if you are in Melbourne!

The first general admission was at 9:30 a.m., the same time they supposedly open. Since it’s busy Melbourne, we decided to arrive 20 minutes early — big mistake! Even though it was raining, there was barely any undercover space near the main gate. The staff were inside and could see all the little kids getting wet, yet they didn’t even let us wait in the foyer until opening time. My little one (2 years old) absolutely loved it, but as an adult, I couldn’t help feeling sad. The animals looked miserable — the only crocodile had barely any space, and the penguins were all piled together in a tiny area with just a small pool to swim in. It was really disheartening to see. The little ones, of course, don’t notice any of that; they’re just thrilled to see the animals. That’s the only reason I’d say it’s worth a visit.

Our experience was 3/5. The layout was quite confusing as there was not much signs and quite different to the map. It was so huge that it was like a maze. However, they should put a number like on the map where all the places are so that we dont miss anything. The general entry price was quite expensive and luckily we got some discount from the guide book, so that wasn't so bad. There's no larger sharks in Melbourne Sea Life compared to Sydney Sea Life, Sydney Sea Life was a lot better. When we went to the cafe to buy something they didnt accept cash, they should put "no cash" sign on the counter so customers would know that they dont accept cash. Overall was an average visit.

This was the first time I had ever gone there and will probably be the last time. We got lost and was told to go straight ahead then we were told to go back the other way, and then to top it off I cannot print our photos so annoying

Possibility to interact with some marine species. Particular the ball aquariums that give the feeling of being on the seabed. Several tunnels from which you can also admire the different fish from below. Final attraction the penguins.

Terrible conditions. The crocodile is kept in the smallest enclosure with limited access to water. To spend his whole life here is depressing. Hate this place

Bit disappointing really especially the ticket access/pricing and how long we had to queue for getting in. Firstly wtf is with the discount if booking advance v buying at the door or even buying online on the day. Price gouging or what! Poor show people. Then despite now being armed with tickets we still had to queue up behind a horde of people waiting to hire prams. So we could have just waited anyway and bought at the desk. A couple with their kids too, slightly in front of us made similar comments. Inside was okay but having seen similar exhibits elsewhere it’s a variation on a theme but still well done. Staff were excellent, helpful and friendly as well as informative about the displays.

We loved it. It was so clean so pretty. Easy to navigate. Very lovely and I am coming again. The prices in the gift shop were amazing nothing I could not afford. I was able to buy my kids over 100 worth in items because the prices were great. Families appreciate this. Keep that going you make everyone smile. Thank you
