  Ksamil beach is very crowded. I swam to one of the islands then walked across and found a nice private place amongst the coral

  A long day but worth it. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable, patient and informative. He answered all our questions and made the drive pass by quickly sharing his knowledge. We visited Ksamil, Sarande and the blue eye (which was breathtaking). The company were amazing when a small issue arose with the car and were so quick to resolve too! Would highly recommend Xhonaton as a tour guide, he just made the experience!

  First of all: Thank you Ermest for this amazing tour. He really loves what he does and you could feel his passion for Albania and that he wanted to show the beauty of his country. He made this tour truly special. We had great conversations and the long drive just flew by. He took the time for us to experience all stops to the fullest, took plenty of pictures. I can say he made the tour the highlight of my trip. Faleminderit!

• A diverse experience in south Albania

  It was a really good tour. I felt that I was traveling with a friend, Oltion, my guide, explained to me a lot of things about history, nature and showed me the better landscape to do pics in south Albania. Oltion managed the tour and it was not the classic tour that gave you 10 min here, 20 min there.... That's why I felt that I was traveling with a friend. Also, Choose Balkans allowed me to add Gjirokaster to have a diverse tour, the historical part with gjirokaster; the nature in the blue eye; the European Caribbean in Ksamil and a lovely place in Saranda.

  

  

  

  

  

  

  

  

  

  

• Good day trip but very long

  Good trip but it was too long and involved too much driving and less of sightseeing. By the time we arrived at the Riviera it started raining so couldn't enjoy the beauty of it. Our guide Erik was great, kept us informed and attended to our needs. 5 star for Erik. Recommend this trip if you are in Albania.

  Wonderful tour! Arian is a nice and cheerful tour guide. We had booked a tour with a few others but eventually 3 cancelled so we got a private tour from Arian. He took his time and took nice spontaneous pictures of us. It's a long drive but you get to see really beautiful places. Serande was particularly liked

  Saw wonderful sights, but it is a lot of driving 4 hours back and forth from Tirana on a weekend trip. In retrospect, we would have done trip differently and rented a car or gotten to Albanian Riviera via Corfu on separate trip. Tour guide was slightly off putting.

  Our trip was amazing from start to finish. The whole journey had breathtaking, Idilic and spectacular views. Our guide llir was exceptional. He was knowledgeable and able to answer all our questions. He spoke fluent English, so communication was perfect and added to the whole experience. It was a long journey and the heat was intense but llir made sure the car was cool and we enjoyed the drive. He gave adequate and well timed breaks. We felt safe as two female travellers and throughly enjoyed the places we visited. We were recommended an amazing seafood restaurant along the coast and it was just the perfect setting to end the trip. In respect to value for money it may seem pricey but I would say it was worth every penny. The communication with choose balkans was very impressive, they kept me informed before I even left from Scotland. They had set up a WhatsApp group and kept me in the loop of any updates and changes of meeting places and timing. They were professional and polite and put me at ease. I would highly recommend to book with them and I'm sure all their tpir guides are amazing but i personally feel we got the best one, so thanks llir for making this trip a memorable one with my daughter.

  We had a great day trip with Juxhin to Sarande. We had a trip booked with another tour operator that cancelled last minute, and Choose Balkans were very accommodating of providing us with a trip last minute. Juxhin was very flexible, responsive and helped us adapt our day. Would recommend!

  Loved this intimate tour. The day was long, but our guide, Bailey, was super relaxed in terms of pacing and content of explanations. Would recommend for anyone that prefers small-format tours over big buses!
