Join us for a unique and thrilling experience on a V8 Chevrolet trike as we explore the beautiful Bay of Plenty. Designed and built in New Zealand, our awesome trikes are powered by 5700cc Chevrolet motors. It’s the ultimate in power and excitement. With a low centre of gravity, our trikes provide a smooth ride with an impressive grip around corners.
Suitable for ages 2+ and all abilities including disabled.
Registered as a car with NZTA and not a motorbike therefore seatbelts are compulsory not helmets.
Suitable for age 2+ and all abilities, special needs, disabled or those with mobility issues.
Note: price is per vehicle not per person so a max of 4 people can take the tour

5.00Absolutely excellent trike tour. Great communication always. We were so excited to do this. Saw the most spectacular huge tree when our guide took us through a bit of a back street. Turns out that he loves trees too :) Highly recommend V8Trike Tours. If we ever get back to NZ will do a longer one for sure. Thank you for making memories with us.

5.00It was a fantastic experience riding the V8 trike tour through the city of Tauranga. Enjoyed it very much, our driver was fantastic, told us a lot about the city and was very friendly. We can highly recommend this tour, it is definitely worth it.

5.00Thoroughly enjoyed the ride. The Guide was fantastic. Still waiting for the photo the Guide took on his mobile phone though, as ours were on board the Carnival Cruiseline being charged. He said he would forward it on as we had left our details when we booked the ride.

5.00Great fun! Interesting facts from Daniel, who was delightful! Highly recommend doing one of their trips! Trike ( we had the 4 seater) was very comfortable and we were even offered sunglasses to borrow as it was VERY sunny and you do get a bit wind blown!! Give up on keeping any sort of hairstyle !!!! A trip highlight!

5.00An outstanding ride around the beautiful peninsula are with our friendly and informative driver Daniel. The team were just packing up as we came past on our way back to the cruise ship and graciously agreed to take another trip with us. Really fun, nice way to check out the area without having to walk great distances and just great. Thank you Daniel!

5.00Excellent experience. The drive around mount maunganui was awesome. Driver giving us commentary about places we were passing was interesting. Feeling of the wind through the hair was something I only thought happened in the movies. Boys enjoyed this and wanted it to last longer.
