Tiananmen Square is a must visit attraction in Beijing and also the political center. Numbers limited reservation everyday, through our reservation service, you can present your passport and enter directly through security check. Please provide the correct passport information. Otherwise, you won't be able to enter.
Friendly reminder: Be sure to avoid traditional Chinese holidays, such as May Labor’s Day (May 1st to May 5th each year), Summer Holiday (June 27th to August 30th), National Day (October 1st to October 7th), Winter Vacation, and Spring Festival (around January 28th to February 16th each year). During this period, firstly, it is difficult to make the reservation, and secondly, queuing can cause you excruciating pain. It takes about 1-3 hours to queue up for security checks.

Tiananmen Square is a free of charge reservation for visitors, but there is a limit on the number of people per day. Tiananmen Square is located in the heart of Beijing and can accommodate one million people for grand gatherings. Tiananmen is a must see for tourists. Numerous buildings that serve as national symbols, such as the Monument to the People's Heroes, the National Museum, the Great Hall of the People, the Mao Zedong Memorial Hall, and the Tiananmen Square Tower, are located around Tiananmen Square. The common large-scale celebrations on TV are also held here.

5.00Booking tickets was very easy. After booking you received an email to provide your passport details. And a week before, you received your confirmation that booking had been made. Via login you could download confirmation if there are problems at entrance. But everything was neatly arranged via passport at entrance.

5.00All perfect. We received the directions and a capture of the access reservation. All as directed. We passed the check by showing the passport and the capture. In the early hours the control queue was about half an hour.

5.00Go for the flag lowering at sunset each day. Absolutely amazing. Entry is free but must reserve at least 1 day prior. We found tge official government site for reservations just too difficult to navigate as tourists, needs a chinese number to verify ect. Paying the very small fee on trip advisor to make the reservation was well worth it.

5.00This was much easier than trying to navigate the reservation process, definitely worth the few pounds that it cost. The line to get into Tiananmen in August is another story(!), but I'd absolutely book this again.
