There was a ticket to the Palace and the gardens, but on the day I went in mid October there was zero need to skip the line. The so called audio guide was a computer reading of an article about the Palace (or perhaps a human with the flattest delivery ever). It did include some information about the collection, but was not organised or presented in a way that helped you walk through and appreciate what you were looking at. Nothing like the audio guides you get from museums and art galleries themselves. Given a do over, I would just buy a ticket from the Palace direct and take my chances with the line.

DO NOT GET ANY TOUR WITH THIS PROVIDER! My tour was scheduled for 3:30 PM, but the provider only sent the tickets at 3:26 PM. They were unresponsive, and I had no choice but to purchase new tickets at the gate. I later applied for a refund, but it was not approved. This experience reflects very poor customer service.

Your directions for the time we reserved were not at all clear. We arrived earlier than the 15 minutes you specified and were allowed into the palace earlier. What was not explained was that the importance of our timed reservation was to view the royal apartments. Since we were allowed into the palace we assumed the time was no longer important and missed our reservation to see the royal apartments. You need to be clearer as to what the timed reservation is for.

It was a great experience we enjoy the outside more than in. It's a lot of walking but a great place to take pictures and from the top of the hill you can see the entire city. Pretty amazing

Palazzo Pitti is definitely worth a visit! Even without the countless, beautiful, paintings, a nice walk through the building, thanks to the great ceilings. The garden is beautiful, large, with a nice view at the very top. A must-see!
