You’ll also enjoy a short break at the rooftop café.
Next, you'll head to the Accademia Gallery. There you'll explore the gallery's seven halls, marvel at paintings, frescoes, and altarpieces in the Hall of the Colossus. The highlight of the tour is the Tribune, where you'll find the Accademia's star statue, Michelangelo's David, created by the artist when he was just 26 years old from a solid piece of marble.

5.00Camilla was our guide for this tour. We could tell that she was passionate about art. Throughout the tour, she gave us an in depth explanation of the various sculptures and paintings that we stopped to look at. The highlight of the tour, of course, was David. She was brilliant in the way she took us to see the statue. We came around the corner and there it was. David literally took my breath away. She pointed out different things about the statue that we probably would have overlooked. A Botticelli (Birth of Venus) and The Holy Family by Michaelangelo were two of my favorites. After the tour, my daughter and I had a cappuccino on the roof and strolled through the museum.

5.00This tour was great for someone who isn't super interested in art but wanted to see some of the most iconic works. The skip-the-line part is 100% worth it as some people we passed had been standing in line for over 2 hours! Our guide was very knowledgeable and shared some really interesting history/facts.

5.00Our guide was fantastic! She shared her passion for art as she taught us about artists and their works at the Ufizzi Gallery and Acaddemia. As we moved between buildings, we got the bonus of learning a bit about the Duomo and the political section of Firenza. We thoroughly enjoyed this tour!!
