I had a great time with our guide Alice! She was really kind and knowledgeable and answered any questions we had. I am usually more of a wanderer when I travel, and I don’t often book activities. I wasn’t sure how the cooking class would go, but I was glad that I decided to go! Everything was set up conveniently, and the food we made was good too! I would recommend if you have the time!

Due to (fortunate) circumstances beyond our control, my companion and I were the only two in Alice's cooking class. It was an unforgettably wonderful class--lots of detail, much encouragement, and tolerance of my less-than-perfect kitchen skills. I recommend it without reservation.

Our experience in this place was really unique. We wanted to discover not only Vietnamese cuisine, but also local production methods, and the balance between the two was perfect. Alice had everything well organized (taxi + care) and she was adorable, pedagogue and always smiling. The adventure began with a tour of the farm around the building to pick up the ingredients we would need. Alice explained the benefits and possible disadvantages of each plant, as well as how to pick them. Then we went to the culinary workshop, where we prepared four recipes: fried shrimp, a Vietnamese salad, a chicken with cashew sauce with rice, then a dessert (fried bananas served with coconut ice cream). We really learned culinary techniques and we were thrilled — and of course we enjoyed it! In short, a great time in Ho Chi Minh!
Alice gave us insights into how to bring out the flavor tones of Vietnamese food.

Chef Linh was very nice, he picked me up with the driver and go to the farm together. It was around 1.5-2hrs drive. Depending on the traffic. We first went to the farm pick up the herbs and veggies we need to the class Chef Linh explained the use of each herbs and what the function of each. Then we went back to the room for cooking class. The taste of the dishes we cooked were good. And easy to prepare. I highly recommend this activity when u come to Ho Chi Minh City.
Great experience that we'd do again.

What an amazing day. We were picked up a few minutes early from our Saigon hotel. We arrived to a warm welcome at the cooking school. We spent 30 minutes outside in the garden picking fruits, vegetables and herbs for our meal. We made and appetizer, salad, entrée and dessert. We had expert instruction and prepared and cooked everything ourselves. The food was delicious and it was a marvelous experience.

Fantastic experience. My father and I loved it. We went to pick up some veggies from outside and got a very good explanation of the different farming techniques. Then we had an excellent cooking class with Alice, who not only was super friendly and very insightful but also changed the menu to accommodate for no meat.

What a great experience! It was wonderful to learn about how the farm grows its organic produce and also the many different uses for the herbs and veg grown in the farm. Our guide, Alice was terrific. Very knowledgeable and a lot of fun to hang out with. Would recommend this tour to anyone who loves Vietnamese food

What a great tour! Zan was a wonderful guide and chef and I thoroughly enjoyed learning about the farm from him. Then we got down to business and cooked four dishes that were delicious. I was the only participant on the tour that morning and I definitely felt like I was getting a private one on one cooking lesson. Fantastic experience and a great way to spend a morning in Ho Chi Minh City!
