Tour guide was OK - would have much appreciated if we had a guide that went into Calude Monet's house with us to provide us details on the house and paintings. Versailles was just too many people (not an issue with the tour, just a fact). The lunch was GLORIOUS, and the bus was clean and AC worked which I've been on a bus or two this trip that the AC wasn't working - all in all a good trip.

The tour felt very rushed. We didn’t get to see Monet’s house very long and we only had 1 1/2 hours to see Versailles. I recommend doing one attraction a day instead of both. It wasn’t the tours fault the attractions were extremely packed but the tour was not a great experience.

The Monet house could have been so much more if our guide had done her job properly. We booked the audio option for the tour. We expected our guide to make sure we got to and from the house properly but she didn’t. The bus parked a few blocks away and when we got to the little town we turn in the wrong direction and lost valuable time. I believe she should have made sure the group got to the right spot rather than only concentrating on the guide tour people. Also for some reason I thought we were going to given a headset with a recording. That was not the case. We scanned a code to receive information but we didn’t have any ear buds so it was difficult to hear the recording I think this factor should be communicated more clearly. In regards to the house and garden we didn’t get inside the house because we lost time with our wrong turn but we did see the gardens and they were fabulous!

Highlight of our time in Paris. The gardens at Monets house were so beautiful. And to walk where he lived and was inspired was so cool. The lunch spot was so nice. The countryside was beautiful. And there are no words for Versailles. Just bring water with you if you plan to walk the gardens. They are huge with little shade. It was hot but not unbearable. Our guide Camille was fantastic! We were there on a holiday weekend and she got us around the crowds beautifully.

We were slightly late due to metro mix up and my very swollen legs which makes travel difficult. Our bus had left and for only 100€ more we could catch up at Versailles or go another day - not possible because we were leaving Paris. Lots of wasted $$$$$!
