Think of France and what comes to mind? Chances are the Palace of Versailles and the Impressionists are up there in your top ten. However fleeting your visit, you do have time to experience a bit of both, thanks to our day trip from Paris. Ever wanted to step into one of Monet’s paintings? Your wish is our command! Wander through the lush gardens of the artist’s residence, inspiration for his Nympheas, among others. After lunch, head to Versailles, royal pad to three King Louis. From the moment you approach this imposing Palace, we dare you not to gasp at its lavish splendor. In fact, you’ll probably keep your mouth open for the rest of your visit!

What a wonderful day we had on this tour. Ann was very knowledgeable and patient. Versailles was on my bucket list for years and Monet’s Garden was a perfect duet and with lunch between the two. Yes, I highly recommend this tour.

It is very handy to be able to get to both venues in one day. Our guide was lovely. Lunch was at a charming old mill venue and just right. Versailles was about as minimal a walk through of both palace and gardens as could be. So, if time is short, this is a good option. If you really want to take your time and perhaps get more in depth access to Versailles especially, consider a booking that includes more of the private areas.

This was an excellent tour! It was unfortunately rainy most of the day but getting to see Monet’s water lily pond and home was worth the visit! We also loved Versailles and our guide did a wonderful job taking us through the history of the palace! The lunch stop was lovely with delicious, locally prepared cuisine and delicious wine! If you’re lover of Monet and French history, cuisine, I highly recommend this tour!

The experience was delightful. Our guide was exceptionally kind and knowledgeable. The bus was brand new and the driver was kind with outstanding driving skills. We remained comfortable throughout!

What a wonderful day!! Monet’s gardens were beautiful, lunch was in a quaint little town and Versailles was interesting too. Our tour guide was super nice and very informative. Definitely recommend doing the full say tour when visiting Paris
