5.00Our guide René was terrific. He is a former city planner (I think) and clearly loves the city and its architecture. We started at the Place d’Armes and weaved around to the Marche Bonsecours. There was ample time for questions. I would have liked to hear a bit more about the geology of the region given all the various stones visible in the buildings’ walls. We went later to the archaeology museum for lunch, to warm up, and the exhibits, and later the Hotel de Ville.
