This is a great way to see the sights and everything going on below you in the water from the BEST perspective. Our water bikes are human-powered and is the best eco-friendly way to get around the area to see everything Crystal River has to offer. You can see manatees swim directly underneath your bike, which is an incredible view to experience. The water bikes easily hold up to 250 pounds and have adjustable seats for all different heights of riders.

This is an amazing opportunity to ride the coolest water bikes available in Crystal River for two hours. These eco-friendly hydrobikes are very easy to paddle and are good for ages 8-80, so as long as you can reach the pedals then you are good to go. Our water bikes are extremely stable and can hold up to 250 pounds very easily. One small child age 3 - 7 can ride on one of the pontoons with you for free, so all families can join in as well. Try the FUNNEST thing to do in Crystal River and see why so many people love these already! We require that you arrive 30 minutes prior to the start of your reservation to watch a quick video from FWC and sign your waivers.

PaddlesOutdoor is a well run company with friendly and efficient employees who make sure the customers have an awesome experience. We rented water bikes in the morning and swam with the manatees in the afternoon. Crystal River has many springs with clear water that Lacie, our outstanding tour guide showed us. She was able to locate one manatee and caught some underwater photos. The Gulf waters were cooler, so most manatees were not in the river. She also told us about the fish we saw. When you rent a water bike, you are able to spot the manatees better with the higher viewpoint. I had the experience of a lifetime when a manatee came up to my water bike and actually pushed me with their snout. Priceless! Christopher Brown is a hands on owner who wants to make sure his customers have a great experience. I would highly recommend renting from PaddlesOutdoor.

Omgosh, I didn’t realize how tough biking in water would be!!! It was a hot day and too much for me, but what a lovely experience we had with our grandson!!! The staff was wonderful and we truly enjoyed. I’d definitely recommend this place.
Water bikes were so much fun!

We really enjoyed riding the water bikes and seeing the manatees. I have kayaked before and the water bikes are so much easier to do and you can see the manatee so much better because you can look right down over them. It was a great time with family visiting from out of state. The staff at Paddles Outdoor were very nice and accommodating. Highly recommend !

We had a blast & the team who checked us in and took us to the river: AWESOME! Lots of tips, smiles, and information about the river and manatees. If you’re looking to do something fun at a place with people who clearly care that you have a great time - this is that place!

This was so fun. The only real complaint I would have is that my butt got a little sore ,but it’s a bike and it happens. The instructions are simple and easy. We really had a nice time. I plan on doing it again in a week or so. Defiantly recommend this company. The employees we ALL very friendly and helpful. 10 thumbs ups! I will say watch out for the sea grass it can stop you by rapping around the propeller but don’t fret, it’s easy to rectify. The helper at the dock will tell you about how to do that. If you get stuck in the middle of the grass and can’t seem to get out just rock your bike like a rocking horse while peddling and you will begin to move slow but sure.
Do this again!

Pleasantly surprised and very happy! Didn't know how bikes would perform. Certainly not nimble on water however not difficult to get comfortable with and maneuver. No very sharp direction changes! Very relaxing for me. Great briefing given by staff. Stay out of the grassy areas! Peddled to Three Sisters Spring. Took about 30 minutes. Everything was awesome! I'm doing this again soon!!
Bought gift card here at Christmas time. Excellent gift .

I'm 65 and had no problem enjoying the water bike. It's the most fun I've had in a long time. So relaxing Looking forward to going again...A Super Thanks to Chris and the staff.

Wonderful calming, relaxing experience! Loved Maddie and Josh very nice! It was fun and exciting to ride and paddle to the deepest part of the river then just sit in the calmness and listen to my music.
Water bikes were a blast!
