We arrive at Wilsons Prom and embark on our first hike for the day which takes us through beautiful terrain and emerges to the vastness of “The Big Drift” Wilsons Promontory sand dunes. An out of this world and inescapable view that can be often overlooked.

Once we return we will take a small drive to the general store for some lunch. Next, it’s time for our second hike of the day, a 7.8 km return journey to the famous Mt Oberon. From the summit, you will experience arguably the best coastal views in Victoria.

Our next stop is one of our favourites, Squeaky Beach. Here you can wander on the incredibly white rounded grains of quartz which make a squeaking sound giving this popular local beach its name.

Finally, as we are departing the National Park, we will make a stop to see our native furry friends. There is a high chance you’ll see Wombats, Emus, Kangaroos and Wallabies going about their daily business.

I had a great time on the Wilson’s Promontory tour. The hike offered beautiful views, and Squeaky Beach was a fun stop—it's true, the sand really does squeak! We even saw some wildlife, like kangaroos and ostriches! The small group made it easy to connect with others, and the guide was friendly and knowledgeable, making the day even more enjoyable.

Good mix of walking experiences including paranomic view of the promontory walking to the top of Mount Bishop, a coastal walk at Squeaky Beach and followed by a gentle walk in the wild life park. Marcus is nice and friendly telling us a lot of interesting stories!

I recently signed up for the Wilsons Promontory hike, and wow, what an adventure! If you’re looking for a fun day out in nature, this is the tour for you! Our guide, Curtis, was absolutely fantastic—so friendly, patient, and super knowledgeable about everything we encountered along the way. You could really tell he loves what he does! As beginner hikers, we were a bit nervous at first, but Curtis made sure we all felt comfortable and included. He was always checking in on us, which really put our minds at ease. The trails were breathtaking, and the fresh, clean air was such a welcome change from the city hustle. I couldn’t get enough of the stunning views! The whole vibe of the tour was just amazing—great company, laughter, and plenty of encouragement. If you’re considering this tour, do it! You’ll have a blast and create some fantastic memories. I can’t recommend it enough! 🌿

Hi, our experience were amazing. We saw emurs, wombat, wallabies, kangaroos and different species of birds in stunning landscapes. The tour guide is nice and very professional.

This tour delivered. Taking to the trail hiking Mount Oberon with the reward of that view was so good! Exploring the Big Drift that just appears from nowhere and the beautiful pristine beaches and lichen covered boulders was the icing on the cake. Wildlife in abundance with kangaroos, wallabies, emu and wombats. It's a great small group tour, excellent guide, comfortable van (great driving from our guide). I absolutely loved it!
