We arrive at Wilsons Prom and embark on our first hike for the day which takes us through beautiful terrain and emerges to the vastness of “The Big Drift” Wilsons Promontory sand dunes. An out of this world and inescapable view that can be often overlooked.
Once we return we will take a small drive to the general store for some lunch. Next, it’s time for our second hike of the day, a 7.8 km return journey to the famous Mt Oberon. From the summit, you will experience arguably the best coastal views in Victoria.
Our next stop is one of our favourites, Squeaky Beach. Here you can wander on the incredibly white rounded grains of quartz which make a squeaking sound giving this popular local beach its name.
Finally, as we are departing the National Park, we will make a stop to see our native furry friends. There is a high chance you’ll see Wombats, Emus, Kangaroos and Wallabies going about their daily business.

5.00I booked this trip as a solo traveler and I'm so happy I went. The tour guide was super friendly, had great music for the drive there and back, and made sure everyone felt included. Everyone on the hike was delightful, and the views were amazing. Highly recommend Hike and Seek!

5.00Andrew our guide was sooo lovely and low key throughout. Our day was full visitig the dunes, walking Mount Bishop, exploring Squeaky Beach and seeing so many animals on the wild life walk. Very worthwhile visiting Wilsons Promintory.

5.00I had a great time on the Wilson’s Promontory tour. The hike offered beautiful views, and Squeaky Beach was a fun stop—it's true, the sand really does squeak! We even saw some wildlife, like kangaroos and ostriches! The small group made it easy to connect with others, and the guide was friendly and knowledgeable, making the day even more enjoyable.

5.00Good mix of walking experiences including paranomic view of the promontory walking to the top of Mount Bishop, a coastal walk at Squeaky Beach and followed by a gentle walk in the wild life park. Marcus is nice and friendly telling us a lot of interesting stories!

5.00As I found the previous day's outing on the Great Ocean Road and the 12 Apostles absolutely fabulous, I decided to take a second excursion with Hike and Seek, this one to Wilsons Prom. And again, it was absolutely awesome! The weather was great, a great atmosphere prevailed in our small group. Our guide Andrew (accompanied by Jedda whose first day it was) introduced us to this unique and beautiful site during a beautiful walk in the forest. Andrew gave us a lot of information about the area. And thanks to its natural calm, we were able to enjoy short moments of calm on this site that lends itself very well to contemplation. Andrew is a beautiful, caring and touching person who is interested in the members of his group, and who also gives himself up. The pace of the walk was correct. We had enough time for a nice swim at Squeekie Beach. I felt a pinch in my heart when the tour came to an end and we all left. Another nice excursion organized by the agency Hike And Seek. Thank you again for these 2 beautiful days spent with you!:-)

5.00This tour was a great way to experience Wilson Prom if you only have one day. The drive on either end is long but worth it. The bakery stop on the way there was amazing, so many great options. First stop was at the Big Drift which was very impressive. Not long enough to venture too far in but enough to appreciate. Next stop was Squeaky Beach. Since everyone brought/bought lunch ahead of time we were able to spend extra time at the beach and eat there. That gave us enough time to swim which was wonderful. Next stop was a hike up Mount Bishop which provided an amazing view of the coast. It never felt too steep but we climbed a lot of elevation. Final stop was a natural walk but unfortunately we didn’t see any kangaroos or wombats as they might have been scared a way by the recent construction. Mark (and Dino) was a great guide. He is super friendly and passionate about nature and being a tour guide. He kept us informed and entertained the whole way. Highly recommended!

5.00A must do if you are in Melbourne or surroundings. This trip is one of the best I have done in Australia so far. The scenery is unique, Squeaky Beach beautiful and the view from Mt Bishop breathtaking. The strenuous ascent is worth it. Our tour guide Mark accompanied us safely through the day, patiently and without rushing us. During the trip we received a lot of information about the history of Melbourne and Geelong, as well as the places that lay on the route. Absolute recommendation.
