Morning: Departure from Ho Chi Minh City & Arrival in My Tho • 07:30 AM - 08:00 AM: Pick-up from your hotel in Ho Chi Minh City and depart for My Tho, a bustling town in the Mekong Delta (approx. 1.5 - 2 hours drive). • Arrive at My Tho and visit Vinh Trang Pagoda, a beautiful Buddhist temple known for its mix of Chinese, Vietnamese, and Khmer architecture. •At the cruise's start, you'll enjoy a 40-minute boat trip along the Tien River. You'll glimpse the four legendary islets—Dragon, Turtle, Unicorn, and Phoenix—each with its own story and charm. Along the way, you'll pass by local shipyards, vibrant fish ports, and floating fish farms, giving you an authentic glimpse into the river-based lifestyle of southern Vietnam. Ben Tre Province
Midday: Exploring Ben Tre – The Coconut Kingdom • Visit a local coconut processing workshop in Ben Tre, famous for its coconut candies, handicrafts, and other products. • Take a small rowing boat ride through the narrow water canals lined with nipa palm trees – an iconic experience of the Mekong Delta. • Enjoy tropical fruits and listen to traditional Southern Vietnamese folk music (Đờn Ca Tài Tử) at a local fruit orchard. • Enjoy a delicious Vietnamese lunch at a riverside restaurant with specialties such as elephant ear fish, fresh spring rolls, and caramelized clay pot fish. Afternoon: Discovering Local Life & Return to Ho Chi Minh City • Take a bicycle ride or walk around a peaceful village, visiting local workshops producing honey, rice wine, and traditional handicrafts. • Return to My Tho by boat, then transfer back to Ho Chi Minh City. • 04:30 PM—05:00 PM: Arrive in Ho Chi Minh City, drop off at your hotel, and end the tour.

5.00Really good day . Great pace. Saw so many interesting and unique things. Lots of opportunity to try local food. Our guide was fantastic. Loved the boat ride. Lunch was really nice, bring money for drinks though as they weren't included.

5.00Was a fascinating day. The guide born in the Mekong delta so had great insights. With a superb lunch this was great value for money. A slightly touristy agenda but gives a good view of life in the delta.

5.00First thing, the tour was a great day out. With 4 adults and 4 kids, everyone had fun and everything was taken care of by our tour guide. While some of the places you visit are obvious tourist traps, never did we feel pushed into purchasing anything and the people were lovely. The food was great. We had the opportunity to interact with others in the group on the tour bus and sometimes that's nicer than a private tour. Did i mention that all the food was fantastic and plentiful with a few gems like the dried banana chips from the bee farm. All in all, well worth the price and treated with respect the whole time by the tour guide and bus driver.
