The Great Ocean Road is travelled by more than 3.5million visitors each year. We have designed this Reverse Great Ocean Road Tour to avoid the crowds at peak times and to also allow our guests to see the awe inspiring 12 Apostles in the morning sun light which brightly illuminates this incredible rock formation. Journey along the entire Great Ocean Road stopping to walk through an ancient rainforest, explore quaint seaside villages, encounter wild Koalas and see the many incredible cliff top lookouts along the way.

Initially booked the reverse+lunch tour but it was cancelled two days prior. Slightly disappointed but the communication was done very well by Autopia, which lessened the blow. Hotel pick up was arranged by Autopia in the morning upon request. This was especially helpful as we were unfamiliar with Melbourne. The bus driver/guide Steve was really fun and attentive, which kept the long trip interesting. It was raining on the day, but Steve did his very best to keep everyone's spirits up. We had toilet breaks at regular intervals and had plenty of time at each sight, did not feel rushed at all. Steve's suggestions for lunch and dinner were both excellent! 👍 Another plus side was the very good wifi service on the bus, however there was no charging port available so make sure you bring portal batteries.

This was a nice day trip. You get to see plenty even though it may be a little fast paced. I would caution those, before booking, who get car/motion sickness. The route has a lot of winding roads. I had no problems but I could see others maybe feeling sick. Our tour guide was awesome, had tons of knowledge and was humorous. Great views all the way through and awesome stops along the way. Would definitely recommend this tour to others. Especially the reverse route, I think it flows better, working your way back to the city.

You should definitely do the helicopter ride when you get to the viewing platform. It was amazing, we even saw a whale from the chopper

Lauren our driver was amazing. Catered to everyone’s needs and made the long day so enjoyable. The reverse tour was terrific we saw amazing sights and ticked off bucket list items.

I cannot say enough about our guide, Steve. He was amazing took us to all the right places to see koalas and kangaroos the 12 apostles unbelievable. The scallop pie and the ice cream were to die for. He’s awesome Ty for the memories, Steve
