5.00John Emmanuel picked us all up between 0615-715 as there were ten of us and we made a beeline (fast route) to 12 Apostles getting there by 10.10 afrer a voffee/bfast/bathroom stop. 12Apostles was dreamlike with that ocean crashing everywhere- we saw other sights and lunch was amazing too

5.00Initially thought the 12 hr excursion would be too long for me but I enjoyed every minute. Bill, our guide, was very entertaining, knowledgeable and was the perfect guide for this trip. We had many opportunities to leave the bus and view absolutely outstanding scenery. The 12 Apostles were breathtaking, as expected, but the road trip from Apollo Bay was exceptionally beautiful. This stretch of road was about 80 klms long and hugged the coast from Apollo Bay to near Torquay. The road was excellent and I would definitely go on this excursion again when next in Melbourne. Don't be put off by the 12 hr trip because every part was interesting and visually amazing. And our last stop was at the Great Ocean Road Chocolaterie for of course, an amazing selection of chocolates plus the best ice cream.
