Our small group (8 guests max) will depart Melbourne and head straight to the famous 12 Apostles before the masses of people arrive. Here we will take a 1km stroll along the boardwalk while appreciating the stunning views of the limestone stacks before continuing onto Gibson Steps. We walk down the 70m cliffside pathway to the beach where there is plenty of time to take some incredible photos.
Next it’s time for a delicious lunch at our favourite local cafe before we’ll drive through the magical Great Otway National Park and take a short hike through ancient rainforests to one of the Otways' pristine waterfalls (where the big bus companies can’t go).
Our next stop we will take a stroll amongst the giants of the forest at the Californian Redwoods before continuing along the iconic Great Ocean Road stopping at Apollo Bay for an optional ice cream. Kennett River is next where you’ll get the chance to spot native koalas, king parrots & kangaroos going about their routines.

5.00We had an incredible time exploring the great ocean road with our tour guide Aaron! Honestly couldn’t have asked for a better guide for the long day. He was kind and personable, which made the time fly by. He was also very knowledgeable about everything in Australia, from animals to politics and everything in between. We were lucky enough to see a wallaby, four different koalas with two being very up close, and kangaroos! The team does a brilliant job of bringing the small groups to non-touristy areas to have the best chance at seeing some spectacular wildlife. 10/10 would recommend booking with tour guide Aaron!

5.00Excellent friendly guide. Aaron. Knowledgeable and a good driver! A long day with lots of travel but worth it to get out of the city for a day. Stunning coastal scenery. Best ice cream I’ve ever had in the afternoon. It was an opportunity to see Australia’s rugged coast line.

5.00Andrew was amazing. He has "great ideas" our crew of 6 people was great. The food at the perch was good, it was hailing at the 12 apostles but Andrew made a quick change to make sure we got the most out of everything. Would recommend to anyone.

5.00Andrew, our tour guide, was great. Despite the rainy windy day, he made the best of the situation and gave us a memorable view of the Twelve Apostles. He adapted our itinerary to include the rainforest and lighthouse, allowing us to see some unique sights during our trip. After a long day, he got us back to our hotel safely. Andrew is a very friendly and kind person, and he truly made our trip to Melbourne special

5.00This was a lovely day touring the great ocean road. We enjoyed the waterfall hike. In winter, darkness came before we got to the end, so we missed some of the scenery. The lunch restraunt was tasty with a good variety and something for everyone. Our guide, Aaron, was knowledgeable about the area. He did need to speak up a little. It was hard to hear him from the back of the van. A speaker to amplify the guides voice would be a good addition.

5.00The day was amazing!! The 12 apostles is spectacular. Plus you get to see so much of Australia including koalas & kangaroos. Mark our tour guide was a true delight. He was so friendly, kind, accommodating & super knowledgeable. I would give him 20 stars if I could. Loved the small group. Allows you to see unique places away from all the big tour buses. Best day in Australia. Thank you Mark for making it an unforgettable experience for my family of 4 and my broken toe!!

5.00Marcus was the best tour guide we had on the multiple tours we had on our entire 16 day holiday. I was particularly impressed that he found wild koalas for us when the larger tour buses were looking in all the wrong places. The man is a legend.

4.00I was here for the last time many years ago. In the meantime, prices have also risen sharply here. Fortunately, it was still acceptable. One night I had pasta with seafood. There was a lot of pasta, but few seafood. It was very delicious. My companion had a pizza. He was very happy with it. The next night I also had a pizza that was very delicious. My companion had a lasagna with a small salad. I wanted to order a salad first. However, after tasting the side salad, I was glad I hadn't. I don't like salad that tastes sweet. Wine and beer were fine. The espresso, however, was quite expensive. The atmosphere and service were good.

5.00It’s a long drive, but worth the time to see a beautiful area of Australia. We first got to the 12 Apostles, walked down the Gibson Steps and back up. On to a fabulous lunch and a brief hike through Mait’s Rest. A couple of quick stops along the way after stopping for a break in Apollo Bay. Our guide Andrew was great, he took us to see koalas and kangaroos! We loved this excursion from Melbourne. 12 hour day, so be prepared and you will need an average level of stamina and fitness. The hikes aren’t long or difficult, but you will be getting in and out of the van a lot and climbing stairs.
