Our captains and crew have over 25 years of experience boating and whale watching on Maui. This experience combined with the small group allows for an intimate and engaging experience and you will have all your whale questions answered. Family-owned and operated. Equipped with a hydrophone on board to hear the whales underwater.

5.00I learned about this boat tour company last year from a friend, and I very much enjoyed the experience. I took two more whale watch tours (back to back) yesterday, and had two more great experiences. The staff is very knowledgable and very friendly. I learned a lot about whales and even managed to get a few reasonable photos. It is amazing how fast a two hour tour goes by! And every tour is different.

5.00Seemed to be a new boat, no fumes, sun or no sun options on deck, lawful viewing of whales, saw a breach and lots of fin flapping! Very pleasant staff, restarting in Lahaina after the fires a couple of years ago

5.00Had the absolute BEST time with Maui ocean adventures! The crew were so kind, laid back, and informative and supplied the best experience. The boat was in excellent condition and any seat on the boat was an amazing view. We saw so many whales, breaches, fin slaps, and whale battles. They even brought along the goodest pup, Lillikoi, to be our whale mascot. Best day ever! They are a must book!

5.00The all female crew on this excursion was amazing. Lexi and captain were extremely knowledgeable in oceanography and all things whale related. We were able to see many whales on this two hour excursion, but our favorite was the mom and one week old baby. Lexi and captain were able to explain the whales behavior and habits. My family and I learned a lot on this excursion. Unfortunately, my son is very sensitive to sea sickness and felt ill towards the end of the trip. Lexi was very accommodating and he was well taken care of.

5.00We had an absolutely amazing experience with Maui Ocean Adventures. While part of this was due to the fact that the whales swam right up to and under our boat, I would give them 5 stars even if this didn't happen. Captain James and Mindy were incredibly knowledgable, friendly, and helpful and ran an excellent tour for our family. The group size was perfect - not too big and there was plenty of space for us to sit and see and two hours was the perfect length. Overall, just a great vibe and would absolutely recommend to anyone coming to Maui! I hope we get to go again!

5.00We would highly rate Maui Ocean Adventures. Really keen hard working crew that delivered in spades our whale watching objective. We saw many groups including one newborn that was quite frisky. One couldn't ask for a better experience.

5.00This was phenomenal -- an all female crew took us to see a number of whales one who came up right beside our boat. We even had an opportunity to listen to whale song on an in water microphone! A very well run outfit and a wonderful experience.
Highly recommended to all! From much experience,this is one of the best whale watching locations and crews in the world!

5.00Amazing experience in every way! We did the 8:50 am 2 hour tour on December 19 (early in the whale watching season, so we weren't expecting to see much). Great price and we saw so many whales! The captains, Emma and Chrissy, and everyone involved was so knowledgeable and passionate about whales and nature. You can tell that they care about the whales and the local community as well. They really care about each person on the boat and also about the whales' wellbeing as well. It was truly inspiring and we learned so much. Excellent customer service. We have been on many whale watching excursions and this is truly one of the best in the world! Will be back and will highly recommend them to all :)
