Located 37 miles (60km) from Ho Chi Minh City, Cu Chi is now considered a heroic district for its role during the American war in Vietnam. It is legendary for its network of tunnels, which extend over 135 miles (220km), and is a popular destination for both Vietnamese and foreign visitors.

Children must be accompanied by an adult. Child rate applies only when sharing with 2 paying adults, otherwise they will be subject to the adult rate. A surcharge maybe applied to the bookings with 2 or more children.
Infant rates apply provided they do not occupy a seat and the tour inclusions. Please advise the supplier if you have from 1 infant at time of booking.
The tour is not available for the handicapped and anyone with heart problems.

Cu Chi Tunnels
The tunnels are a great destination located 70 km from the Ho Chi Minh City Center to the Northwest. Cu Chi was known as the “area of steel” in the war time, and the tunnel systems were over 200km, which was considered the unbreakable underground village in the Vietnam-American war. It is legendary for its network of tunnels and is a popular destination for both Vietnamese and foreign visitors.

Upon arrival, before exploring the tunnels, you will have some short introduction followed by introductory video about how the tunnels were constructed and how the people survived in the harsh conditions of war time. Then, spend your time to explore the remaining area and tunnel systems which included the special constructed living areas with kitchens, bedrooms side by side with other martial facilities like storage, weapons factories, field hospitals, and command centers helping whoever lives inside the tunnels meet their basic needs. Besides, there are also many hidden trap doors and dangerous traps within the maze-like tunnels for security purposes during the war. Afterward, special tea and cassava (guerilla’s food during the war) will be served. Break time for relax or time for those who want to try the real shooting gun (The shooting fee is self-paid and only suitable for adults). Return to Saigon. End trip.

5.00Great tour! Our guide Peter moved at a nice pace and we hit all the key experiences while he did an excellent job of explaining. Something cool I wasn’t expecting from the itinerary was trying the root vegetable people ate while spending time in the shelter.

5.00The experience was informative and well-organized. We learned some very interesting pieces of history. The stop at the handicapped people's art shop was not necessary and could have been improved if the people working on the art were INSIDE, in the air-conditioned room as opposed to the sweltering heat outside.
