This is a great tour for those who only want to spend a half-day out, are short on time, or want to enjoy a nice sleep-in while on holiday! We visit two areas on this trip, Daintree River and Mossman Gorge.
We begin with a drive along the Captain Cook Highway, on the way to the Daintree River, and share a little history along the way.
Here, we board a cruise along the Daintree River, looking out for local wildlife, including the estuarine crocodile, snakes, birds, frogs, and more. Enjoy a beer, wine or soft drink with a snack while cruising.
After the Wildlife Cruise, we head over to Mossman Gorge.
Once in Mossman Gorge National Park, we conduct an interpretive walk along an elevated boardwalk. Weather dependent, we can enjoy a dip in the crystal-clear rainforest stream, whilst being surrounded by the beautiful and healing Mossman Gorge rainforest. What a memorable way to spend an afternoon!

You will board a cruise along the Daintree River, looking out for all manner of creatures, including the estuarine crocodile, snakes, birds, frogs, and more.
Mossman Gorge Cultural Centre
We arrive at Mossman Gorge and your guide will take you on a walk and share their knowledge of the local flora and fauna and answer any questions you may have. This is an easy 500m return walk mostly along boardwalks. You can enjoy a swim in the crystal-clear rainforest stream, which can be quite refreshing, whilst being surrounded by the beautiful and healing Mossman Gorge rainforest. What a great way to spend a morning!

5.00Had a great ride to see the crocs in their natural habitat, and an excellent dip in the Daintree swimming spot (complete with sand beach & river bottom). Daniel had lots of info for us at every step in the tour.

2.00For a 4 hour tour all you get is a boat ride along the river where you may spot one or two crocodiles and a walk to the gorge

5.00We had a lovely day that was well timed to see the crocodiles with Bob who knew exactly where to take us on the Daintree. Then Daniel took us to the Mossman George which was beautiful. We did an afternoon half day tour which was enough but if you want more time to explore do the full day tour.

4.00We really enjoyed the our Daintree forest and river experience. The Mossman Gorge springs were so beautiful and fresh. We a refreshing swim. The driver of the bus was knowledgeable but I took offence to a comment he made to me in front of other passengers. He asked me to put my seat belt on which I was about to do anyway (not everyone was even on the bus yet) but he pulled out a seat belt extension and said I could use it. This was for on the drive back. I wore the seatbelt with no extension strap on the way there. Meanwhile half the bus didn't even wear their seatbelts. I was so upset, it really did hurt my feelings. It did spoil my experience.
