Another option is to discover the surroundings of the Alhambra. This experience doesn’t include admission to the Alhambra itself but focuses on its nearby landmarks around two hours. Opt to explore the surroundings of the Alhambra accompanied by your guide discover the Alhambra Forest, the Gate of Justice, the Plaza of the Cisterns, and the Palace of Charles V.

If it is option selected visit the Alhambra. Perched high on the hill overlooking the city, the incredible palace complex was first built as a fortress at the start of the 13th century. Successions of Spanish rulers made Alhambra their home. 1.00Unfortunately the details of the tour left out one very important fact that it is a 1 1/2 hr drive from the Cruise ship port (Motril) to the meeting place in Alhambra. We anticipated a 30 min trip. So after spending $120 cab fair & a 1 1/2 trip, we missed the tour!!!

Interest g facts, not to much information overload or too less that you didn’t understand what you were seeing- perfecto! The Alhambra and Palaces are something else We had phone call, emails all to check were coming, knew where to meet and to bring our passports. Faultless

2.00Attention misleading information! See the fine print!! Included in the scope of services allegedly: -Transfer from and to the hotel (if upgrade option is selected) -Tickets for Nasrid palaces, Alcazaba fortress and Generalife gardens - Professional tour guide - Food and drinks, unless otherwise stated - Headphones In fact, only the freely accessible parts of the Alhambra are accessed. The correct scope of services is described under the menu item "Itinerary". Pace much too high for families with small children. Paths are only available to a limited extent with strollers. Guide Carlos gives good explanations, however, you should be a native speaker with an English-speaking tour. Carlos talks without a period and a comma! For us, the tour was only partially worthwhile.

5.00Carlos was an amazing tour guide. He guided us through the sea of other tourists with ease, and was knowledgeable, humorous, and attentive to the needs of all of the group members. He even recited poetry. A wonderful experience that I would definitely recommend to anyone else.

1.00Bad tour, specifications nothing to see, supposed to be in Spanish and a lady started translating into French. Tickets don't include them, they just put you where it doesn't cost and if explanation is minimal, it's better to go on your own and buy your tickets

1.00I think we didn’t get what is described on the ticket. Only in the small print after we bought the ticket we saw that we only bought an tour in the free area of the Alhambra. Så we left the group and walked by our selves.
