Infants under 1 year are not allowed to participate for safety reasons.
Infants aged 1-4 years travelling on a child seat (with load capacity of up to 49 lbs or 22 kg) come on the tour free of charge

On Wednesdays, the route includes a deviation, so the tour may last up to half an hour longer (4.5 instead of 4 hours and 6,5 instead of 6 hours). The tours will be 30 minutes longer also in the period January 15 - February 12, 2025
On Easter Sunday (April 20th, 2025), the Catacombs are closed (therefore, the 6-hour tour will not be running)

This tour was delightful. About 15 miles over a 6 hour period included an hour’s long catacombs guided tour by a specialist, multiple stops to explore and learn about the Aquaducts from our knowledgeable guide. An active day but not a strenuous one.

I am so glad I did this tour! Christian is a great guide! It is definitely not for beginners, but intermediate riders. My tour took 6 hours including the catacombs.

Excellent activity outside the usual areas. A day of cycling in the Roman countryside to follow an ancient millennia-old road built by the Romans then the discovery of aqueducts. The organization is great and our guide Meghane was attentive and present to answer all our questions! Thank you for the experience, it is to be done again on another route if one day we return to Rome.

Everything about the 6 hr e-bike tour we took was excellent . I would strongly recommend this to anyone wanting to learn more about the history of Rome, see historical sites which are not on the traditional tourist checklist and get some exercise cycling around such an amazing city . We cycled 25 km on v comfy e bikes with powerful batteries .We had plenty of stops along the way where Sina gave us lots of interesting information . We visited the catacombs ( fantastic - also had a terrific guide there ) , walked around a chariot racing track beside the appian way , saw mausoleum burial mounds along the appian way , and were able to explore the aqueducts up close . We cycled on the appian way , alongside the Roman wall and through the gates , along side streets and a small amount of time ( getting to and from the shop ) in busier traffic . We had a lunch break at a delicious pizza shop ( apparently one of the top 5 rated in Rome ) . we also saw goats and sheep and lots of turtles in a pond/ late in one of the parks we cycled through . Practically there were toilet stops available at the catacombs and the pizza shop (- plus the bike shop ). We only had 3 days in Rome and I’m so glad we used one of them doing this tour - seeing a lot but feeling relaxed and getting to see the countryside too as well as being given lots of knowledge along the way . If you re unsure about booking this - I hope this review helps to decide you . You ll have a great day .

Interesting history explained, great bike, sweet and safety conscious guide, Sila. Easy pace, but terrain is a bit rough in places where we off-roaded, but felt safe nonetheless. For people wanting to get out of Rome for a day, and challenge their existing city skills on a bike a bit
