The English guide tells the story about conditions and live of prisoners and show the remains of barracks, watchtower, railway ramps, gas chambers and crematorium. After completing the sightseeing, return back to Cracow and finish the tour at the reception of your hotel.

VISITING PACE: Please note that there are hundreds of people visiting the Auschwitz Museum every day and keeping your own pace of sightseeing is not possible.
DEPARTURE TIME: You will be picked up from your selected location between 2:00am to 2:30pm depending on museum's availability to start the tour. Select your most favorable timeslot and we will try to fit you in, but it is not a guarantee. We will inform you the final pickup time at least 12 hours prior to pickup time so you can make plan to arrive at pickup location. Changing the pickup time does not entitle you to cancel the trip and receive a refund.
LUGGAGE SIZE: Each traveller is allowed a maximum size of any baggage allowed in The Auschwitz Birkenau Museum is 30x20x10 cm. This is more or less the size of an A4 sheet. It's okay to have a small handbag or wallet with you. If your luggage is bigger, you can leave it in the locked bus parked next to the museum. Our driver will look after your luggage while you are away.
WEATHER: We operates in all weather conditions, during this tour, you will spend up to 70% of the time outdoors, especially during the second part at Birkenau Memorial Place. Please bring weather appropriate clothing.
HOTEL PICKUP: Some of the hotels located in Kraków Old Town are in traffic restricted area and no direct pickup is available. In that case we provide a pickup from closest possbile pickup point.
In order to enter the Auschwitz Musuem customer must provide tour provider with full names of all participants. Otherwise customers won't be allowed to enter.
ID DOCUMENTS: Every visitor has to bring ID to verify. Otherwise the security might refuse enter the Musuem
Children must be accompanied by an adult
Valid student ID allows you to get a youth discount.
Auschwitz Museum reserves the right to change the visiting time, therefore the pickup time is approximate and may change. In the absence of a guide, the tour will be organized by purchasing tickets at the ticket office for a guided tour.

Panstwowe Muzeum Auschwitz-Birkenau
The distance between Krakow and Auschwitz Birkenau is around 65 kilometres so it takes approximately 1 h 30 minutes in one way. In first Camp Auschwitz you spend about 2 hours, with guide.
After visiting Camp I Auschwitz you will have short (10 minutes) break and then we go by bus to Camp II Birkenau. The tour in Birkeanau takes about an hour with the same guide.

1.00Do not use. As of NOV 2025 (maybe sooner but at least active when I went) all Auscwitz tour tickets are no longer offered to third party vendors in advance. If you do not book through the website, this service simply picks you up at 0300 (+/- 1 hour) and brings you to wait in line. The “bus driver” then waits with you and purchases on your behalf when you get to the front. Something you or anyone in your party is also capable of doing yourself. Recommend if you do not/are not able to book directly through the website, show up with all of your people NLT 0330 outside the ticketing office and rotate out who goes to do coffee/breakfast runs. For this specific service I planned with the “company” to meet them at the gate but was ghosted the morning I arrived. I waited in line with a number of other people also bamboozled by these third party agencies and never met the driver. When I got to the front of the ticketing office there were two more English slots available that sold out to the people in front of me at around 0815 in the morning. I showed at 0415 so a 0330 show time probably would’ve been fine. I paid €200 and did not get what was promised by the company - a guaranteed ticket, regardless of language. Do not use this service. Either book directly with the museum or just show up with your people super early and make a day of it.

1.00Well, what experience. Made booking for visit to Auschwitz with colllection from our hotel at 10am, only to receive a message less than 20 hours that the time had been moved to 2.40am, and not only that the collection was not from the hotel. I feel that they over book the experience and and hope your gullible enough to except the revised time.

1.00Horrible customer support. Booked a 10:10am pickup, but the operator came back with 330am pickup. Given this was not at all what I wanted, I canceled and did not go on the tour. However, operator wouldn't give a refund
Avoid at all cost!!!!!! They don’t buy tickets but happy to take your money!

1.00SHOCKING SERVICE! We receive a message the day before our trip changing our pick up time from 08:10 to 03:50! After further investigating, this is because they hadn’t secured/booked actual tickets with the museum! How they honestly expected people to queue outside in the snow (-2 degrees) for hours is beyond me! Totally happy to fraudulently take my money and not actually book the tickets I paid for! We couldn’t get pick up at the new time as we weren’t even in the country and got refused a refund! So so disappointed with the service we had and not be able to visit Auschwitz after booking so far in advance!
Totally humbling experience.

5.00Went with my daughter as I've been there 6 years ago. She wanted to experience it. Today was made more humbling as it was snowing and freezing and it made us really feel what those poor people went through. I could visualise them in my minds eye. Would advise NOT TO TAKE BABIES AND PRAMS. it's not the place for them. I have watched numerous episodes on tube to do with the haulocaust and still to experience it is an absolute honour.

1.00All booked months in advance and day before Travel Agent changed what was booked and paid for. When discussing on telephone, they hung up the call.

5.00The whole trip was fantastic from beginning to end. An early start meant we were first the que for the tour round the sites. Don't be put off by the early start time as it is well worth it. Peter, our driver was superb. He looked after us so well and we really would not have had the same experience without him. A very memorable day and I would happily recommend it to anyone. Thank you Peter.

1.00Worst travel experience. Ruined our trip to Poland. Had a tour booked months in advance. Confirmed that we would be picked up at the hotel (my husband uses a mobility scooter). At 2pm the day prior to the 10am pickup we received a text that we were to meet at a location 1.2m from our hotel at 3AM (yes middle of the night) we also were told we would wait 3 hours at the entry (although) the description said skip the line. The confirmation stated our hotel at 10 am . I was told I should have read the fine print. Viator did NOTHING --said that they outsource to local vendors and they have no control over what they do. I requested a full refund but since it was less than 24 hrs (funny that they waited till in that window to inform us that our plans significantly changed) I most likely won't get a refund. DO NOT USE VIATOR.

1.00Trip was cancelled overnight via email for what was meant to be a 630am pickup. Haven't heard anymore from the company, I'm waiting for a refund.
