Your tour begins with transportation from Krakow to the Wieliczka Town where there is a salt mine. Pickup by bus from a pre-determined place (hotel or other place that you choose) at a specified date and time. Transport takes about 30 minutes.
Wieliczka Salt Mine
As part of the visit, you will receive an individual entrance ticket to the salt mine and a professional yours language speaking guide. The guide is available in one of the selected languages: English, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Russian. Visiting the Salt Mine takes place in groups of up to 30 people. You will also receive a set of headphones during your tour. The mine has 9 levels, underground. During the tour you will learn about the history of salt mining in particular historical periods. With a guide, you will visit a maze of corridors and a complex of thematic chambers where there are numerous sculptures, chapels carved into the rock and an underground lake. Feel the unique microclimate of the mine, which is ideal for people suffering from asthma and allergies, and feel the benefits for your health. After completing the tour you will return with an elevator to the ground. After the sightseeing, you will return to the parking lot where your driver will be waiting for you.

5.00This tour feels like a slow burner, but stick with it. The mine is f**king massive! If you've ever watched Lord of The Rings, or the Hobbit, you'll be left bewildered and awe struck by the immense attention to detail that went into building this place. I'm still lost for words at just how extraordinary the architecture is. It is a whole city underground, laid with chapels, chandeliers, beautiful high ceilings, a cafe, gift shop and lakes and rivers! Getting into the mine, you must traverse 300+ downward steps, and you can feel like a little dizzy. But just take your time. The elevator going back up is a little precarious, so if you're claustrophobic hold onto a loved one tight. The trip back up doesn't last long.

4.00The reason I have give four stars, although it was good tour and tour guide was really nice. I felt like it was quite rushed. The was another group behind us and the other tour guide was abit rude and kept telling us to move on even though our guide was telling us we could take pictures. Gets warm down there, lots of steps wear comfortable walking boots or trainers and take water to keep hydrated you need it. There are toilet breaks in between and a bar when you get down there. Matthew our driver was lovely couldn’t fault him at all.

5.00From the moment our driver Casper picked us up from the hotel it was so well organised. Salt mines are a must if visiting the area. Casper the driver was really friendly and made the journey of around 25 minutes great fun . The mines are a lot of walking but the salt sculptures are worth the walk .

5.00This was a lovely trip. We were Picked up where and when they said. Driver stayed in touch and group was small. Had time for the toilet and a coffee before the tour. Salt mine tour guide was excellent, funny and knowledgeable. Good day out
