Krakow
Your tour begins with transportation from Krakow to the Wieliczka Town where there is a salt mine. Pickup by bus from a pre-determined place (hotel or other place that you choose) at a specified date and time. Transport takes about 30 minutes.
Wieliczka Salt Mine
As part of the visit, you will receive an individual entrance ticket to the salt mine and a professional yours language speaking guide. The guide is available in one of the selected languages: English, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Russian. Visiting the Salt Mine takes place in groups of up to 30 people. You will also receive a set of headphones during your tour. The mine has 9 levels, underground. During the tour you will learn about the history of salt mining in particular historical periods. With a guide, you will visit a maze of corridors and a complex of thematic chambers where there are numerous sculptures, chapels carved into the rock and an underground lake. Feel the unique microclimate of the mine, which is ideal for people suffering from asthma and allergies, and feel the benefits for your health. After completing the tour you will return with an elevator to the ground. After the sightseeing, you will return to the parking lot where your driver will be waiting for you.

4.00Good experience, worth the visit although you could’ve easily just turned up there using alternative methods of transportation and had the exact same experience; albeit this was a stress free way to do it! Our tour guide Patrica was brilliant and funny and full of knowledge. Our only thing that’s made this 4 star not 5 was that it took us 45mins to get out of the cave because the 2 lifts for the volume of visitors was not sufficient and there was no way of using stairs to walk back out! The time it takes to exit was not mentioned at all by anyone so there were a few people from our group that ended up being 45mins late back to meet our driver Artur which I don’t think he was too happy about but he didn’t say anything so anyone. Artur was great, arrived promptly and dropped us back to our hotel without complaint and the car was clean. Good experience overall but very touristy!

5.00Thought we were scheduled for 9AM tour and pickup was 920? Ended up being a 1030 tour and we were just the first of three pickups? Lotta stairs to start, more at different places noticed it the next day in our calves. But fantastic visuals throughout, we do recommend it.

4.00The pick up and drop was standard, the person came to our apartment, and communication was via trip advisor. It was a comfortable journey to and back from the mine. At the mine, we would be clubbed with another groups doing the tour in a language. The tour itself was ok, you will be provided with a ear piece that helps a lot. The mine itself was ok, it was a new experience for us as we have not visited a salt mine. The time was 2.5 hours, with one lift to get back. It was well organised. Best for people who have not seen salt structures or not visited deep mines. The admission fee was included as part of the tour package. The driver dropped us back at our preferred location, which was convenient.

5.00It is amazing to see how salt mine was formed and how it becomes; our driver (Artur) is good communicator and arranged the logistics well. our guide @ salt mine is Jack :) he is knowledgeable and informative. very attentive as well. i enjoyed the tour and highly recommend the tour note: yes there is a lot of walk and descending (with steps) ; do ensure u are wearing the right shoes. Inside the mine, the temperature is a bit cool, but with that many of walk, please wear suitable clothes accordingly

5.00This tour is not about Schindler and you never get to see the factory, as it’s now a museum. But the tour guide was excellent and I highly recommend doing this tour if you are ever in Krakow.

5.00Picked up as arranged from hotel. The salt mine is stunning, our guide Renata was very entertaining. Lot of walking as forewarned, long walk also to lift to get back to ground level Unlike other excursions, I didn't receive any communication from the tour provider until the day before the tour although was confirmed on visitors site The area the mine is in is also lovely if you get the chance to explore a little
