Your tour begins with transportation from Krakow to the Wieliczka Town where there is a salt mine. Pickup by bus from a pre-determined place (hotel or other place that you choose) at a specified date and time. Transport takes about 30 minutes.
Wieliczka Salt Mine
As part of the visit, you will receive an individual entrance ticket to the salt mine and a professional yours language speaking guide. The guide is available in one of the selected languages: English, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Russian. Visiting the Salt Mine takes place in groups of up to 30 people. You will also receive a set of headphones during your tour. The mine has 9 levels, underground. During the tour you will learn about the history of salt mining in particular historical periods. With a guide, you will visit a maze of corridors and a complex of thematic chambers where there are numerous sculptures, chapels carved into the rock and an underground lake. Feel the unique microclimate of the mine, which is ideal for people suffering from asthma and allergies, and feel the benefits for your health. After completing the tour you will return with an elevator to the ground. After the sightseeing, you will return to the parking lot where your driver will be waiting for you.

4.00Was lovely to see, the mine is well planned out. The only thing that was hard was that there are roughly 35-40 people in one group so hearing the tour guide with the audio set given to you was difficult as you needed to be close to the guide. There were also so many tour groups in there that a lot of the time we had to walk fast to keep in the tour groups order. Kacper our driver was great and gave a lot of information and answered any questions we had!

5.00This was a great experience for my kids (7 & 16). I visited when I was a kid and it brought back so many memories. We were picked up at our hotel and met our guide at the mines. It was about a 2/2.5hr tour and it was great!

5.00A fair few steps going down but I do believe there was a disabled way down too. Well worth it…the best experience we did in Kracow

4.00Very nice enjoying trip. You can really appreciate the effort that went into mining the salt once you see this place with your own eyes. Brave men. The lift to the top was interesting lol very tight but was quick thankfully. Would definitely recommend to anyone travelling to krakow.

4.00You need to be fit !!! 800 steps down, no way back until you get to the bottom, they do have access for wheels chairs but not sure how to book that, the chapels are lovely.

5.00Our driver arrived on time to pick us up. Nice and with great English. The guide who accompanied us during the tour, Michael if I'm not mistaken, was very prepared, funny and told everything in an interesting way. Great experience
