Discover the vibrant tropical fruits, gardens, riverside locals, and boat ports as you cruise down the canals of the Mekong Delta. In your wooden river boat, watch the passing homes on stilts, boat making workshops, and vendors along this scenic riverside cruise. Begin your outing with a convenient hotel pick up, and then make your way to My Tho City. Watch as the bustling city views transition to serene rice fields and rural settings. On the way, you will have a visit at the Vinh Trang Pagoda. Upon your arrival, take a peaceful boat trip along the Tien River to Qui, also known as Tortoise Islet. This islet is also known by many other name. Following, enter the Bao Dinh Canal to head into Ben Tre Province, or the country of coconuts. Here, learn about the local agricultural model known as Garden-Pond-Cage. Taste some local treats like coconut candy and honey tea as you sit back and relax on your wooden river boat in the comfort of the shaded canals covered by water-coconut trees.

Depart from your Ho Chi Minh City hotel and head to the Mekong Delta by minivan or bus. Pass by green rice fields before arriving at the beautiful rural My Tho. Along the way, visit the Vinh Trang pagoda, the biggest pagoda in the Mekong delta.

5.00Our guide Aqua, did a marvelous job of not only managing a large group like us, but also making sure that older participants, such as my parents, were comfortable at all times. She was so sweet and considerate of everybody in the group and very knowledgeable about the Mekong Delta. We had such a great time from beginning to end - we especially loved all the boat hopping from island to island, what a treat!
Best Mekong Delta experience.

5.00It surpassed my expectations. Quang was a very knowledgeable tour guide. Everything we see is so pretty and interesting. The fruits and the Vietnamese lunch were the best I had since I arrived Ho Chi Ming City. The only downside was the excessive honking from our driver that prevent me from getting some rest on the rides. I think the driver was in the rush to get us to places with the short time possible and thus honked constantly to change to faster lanes.

4.00We had an amazing day thanks to our guide Son, his knowledge about today's experience was wonderful. He spoke slowly and very clear, very easy to understand his English. He was enthusiastic and energetic, awesome, caring gentleman. Although, the bus we travelled on, was not cleaned the previous day, there was still empty bottles and plastic bags and wrappers in the back pockets of the seats, it's was all the seats not just one or two, this made it difficult to sit comfortably. Should be cleaned at the end of each bus trip

2.00Overall it was a disappointing trip...it was an 8 hour day compromising of 2 hours drive there and 2 hours back so 4 hours on the road...but not the company's fault. What really was disappointing was the touristy shops and attractions you were taken too and the pressure to buy. Everyone wanted a tip which distracted from the day. The Melong river itself was interesting but not a reslly ptetty river (not the company's fault again). Lunch was reasonablly nice but drinks were extra (not expensive though). We felt we could have spent the whold day in HCMC doing something else more worthwhile and interesting. If you want to see the Mekong river and take a boat cruise on it, do the trip...however it won't be a scenic river cruise. And you will have to put up with the touristy side show!

1.00Far from the authentic experience we were promised. Highly commercialised tour with am uninformed tour guide who hardly explained anything. Would recommend finding another tour with focus on describing the culture, this tour is certainly far from what it is described as.
