We had a fab time with our guide Putu Merta on the food tasting tour. There is a LOT of food, we'd seen the advice to not have breakfast, but maybe don't eat the night before as well! There was a great variety of dishes to try from across Indonesia, and we enjoyed eating at local spots that we wouldn't have tried on our own. Putu took us for great sweet options at the end of the trip and a lovely coffee stop.

Merta Putra was absolutely incredible! Walked around tasting some of the most delicious local cuisines whilst also learning a lot about the culture and Balinese people. Our Visit to a local fresh produce market is not for the faint hearted, but we really couldn't have asked for a more authentic experience. We visited places we could have never discovered on our own. Hidden gems. Thank you

We had an AMAZING time with Puti as our guide. He was so knowledgeable, and we learned so much not only about traditional Indonesian cuisine but also about the culture. The 3 hours went by SO fast. Come hungry because there is a lot of food!

We did this food tour with our guide Gede. Being our 1st trip to Bali, we had a few trepidations, looking at the Badung Market. It was generally only locals eating here. However we were pleasantly surprised. All of the food choices were great and we had plenty to eat. Definitely come here with an empty stomach. We were Gede's 4th customer, but you wouldn't know it. He was knowledgeable, extremely accommodating and couldn't do enough for us. This tour stayed within the market, so not a lot of walking was required. Although, Gede did take us through a local park after eating to help walk off what we'd just eaten. I would definitely recommend this tour and Gede as a guide.

A must do food tour - with authentic tastings all evening with Reza. Reza was knowledgeable and took us to many off beat (non touristy) destinations to eat with food that we had never heard of. The local vendors were all lovely and it was great to eat with the locals. This is the true Bali and make sure you go with an empty stomach as there is so much beautiful food.

Would have scored a zero if provided. Disappointed is an understatement. Unprofessional and rude. Kadek, the guide, cancelled and did not inform us until we reached out to him 10 minutes after his show time. When we asked what restaurants were on the tour to visit on our own he went “radio silent.”Go with a trusted service…With Locals is not one of them.

Great experience! I love trying new food but finding tiny local stalls when I don’t know the cuisine, language, area or hygiene is very difficult to be confident to eat at authentic local food stalls. This tour was perfect!! Our guide was great and we loved all of the food spots and no “Bali belly” lol! Highly recommend!

Met Budi at food market. As it was a day after the local celebrations a lot of stands were closed including the craft market. I was introduced to all the fruits and veg of the area. I got a taste of mangustine and snake fruits followed by many tastings of local deserts. Picked up some nice spices. As a solo traveller we then took to the scooter and had many tastings of soups. Tofu and many different meat and curry dishes. Got to visit a silver sales area. Hugh choice and it also housed a large display of crystal and geode pieces. Loved the few hours and learned a lot about the area. Good for solo travellers.
