Lan Ha Bay, which has been for years under the management of Cat Ba National Park, is in fact a part of the complex that includes Halong Bay. With an area of more than 70,000 ha, the bay itself possesses hundreds of breathtaking islets and charming beaches, creating a stunning scene equal to its neighbor's but in some way more isolated and untouched. Therefore, Lan Ha Bay is now an ideal destination for those who want to spend their vacation in a tranquil and peaceful place.

I highly recommend this company. I had the best time! The crew was super professional, smily and friendly. From hanoi a the way to the the bay and then the cruise, the service has been amazing. Always on time, always communicating. I had a different pick up point as I wasn't staying in the old quarter in hanoi and had 2 numbers contacting me to organize the pick up. I also decided to stay an extra day on Catba (which i dont recommend, there's not much to do really) and it wasn't a problem at all. It was very nice to have this experience especially in Vietnam... nothing to say but to recommend. Our guide Nam was the sweetest. His English was very good. Food was beyond amazing, and we ended up being only 4 on the boat. Small group and lots of fun. THANK YOU SO MUCH !

The crew is really helpful and lovely, however the photos shown here do not correspond to the reality of the actual cruise boat and food is really bad. In addition, organization of transportation services is really poor and communication about it as well.

This was a fun filled wonderful experience. Highly recommend the 2 day one night experience. You pack a lot in between kayaking, swimming, biking, karaoke, delicious food. Shin was the best guide imaginable.

First off all, the landscape is amazing. You will start to see nice views as soon as boat leaves the port. We were in the boat called ‘Sunlight Cruise 68’. Staff on the boat and our guide was very friendly and helpful in every way. Shared a lot of information. The food on the boat was excellent. They had provided with many varieties. The prices for extra drinks purchased were not bad. Rooms were in good shape, don’t expect a luxury suit. It’s value for money. If you are traveling solo, and want a room for yourself, you need to pay extra. Else they’ll pair you with another person or two. We didn’t want to do any of the main activities planned (kayaking, swimming) since it was very cold. so Instead they took us to a floating fish farm. The next day morning went to Viet Hai village for cycling and ended cruise around 1130AM. Bus to and from the cruise. Be prepared to be jam packed in the bus to port though. Since they take all different groups in same bus sometimes. And the return was delayed by few hours due to one ferry being stuck due to low tide. Be prepared for such scenarios that’s unavoidable.

Pros: Han La bay is in fact muuuuch less crowded than Ha Long Bay and very beautiful indeed. It was fascinating to see the local people live on the bay and we greatly enjoyed the cycling to the local village and the kayaking. Tour guide Hai was super nice and did his very best to keep us informed about everything we saw. Nooelne said anything about bringing your own drinks, which we did, as drinks were extremely expensive on the boat (one coke 50k). Cons: as with every tour to the bays, you spend very much time on the bus, picking up people, dropping off others, and comparatively little time on the boat itself (it's basically from noon to noon). While this es to be expected, we were not all too happy with the shape of the boat. The motor winch broke at some point, and in the middle of the night the hot water boiler exploded and flooded the upper floors. All in all: we enjoyed the experience, but like always you get what you pay for. Food was good enough and plenty, the accomodation was mediocre, the views were spectacular. So if it's more about the experience than luxury for you, we can recommend the trip.
