Embark on a fantastic day trip to discover the wonders of Cinque Terre, five charming seaside villages – Riomaggiore, Manarola, Corniglia, Vernazza, and Monterosso – all recognized as UNESCO World Heritage sites.
Our journey starts on a comfortable bus led by our knowledgeable guide. We first visit Manarola*, where colorful houses and charming shops cling to the cliffs overlooking the sea. Moving on to Vernazza, our guide takes us on a stroll through narrow alleys to the harbor, where we embark on a boat. From where, we marvel at the stunning coastline. The adventure continues in Monterosso, known for its lovely beach and hills descending towards rocky coves. Enjoy a delightful lunch at a typical restaurant featuring local products (optional), and use free time for a refreshing swim or exploring local shops. Our adventure comes to an end. Then our comfortable bus awaits us to take us back to Florence.

5.00This a 12 hour day but it is worth it! Sandro was our guide for the day and he was the best! Sandro knew all the shortcuts so that we got to spend the maximum time in each location and explaining along the way the history of Cinque Terre. This has been one of our highlights on this trip and a big reason was our guide Sandro!

1.00We took the coach escort which was cheaper than with meal and train package. At the event day, we enjoyed a lot in Cinque Terre and had a wonderful meal on our own. We reserved around 1 hour to take the train back to meeting point, which would only take 15-20 minues ride. However, we forgot here is Italy. The train got delayed a lot (more than 40 minutes to reach the village we were at, but there were many trains in the morning to early afternoon). So I texted the tour leader to wait us around 20 minues because of this out of control situation. But the tour leader denied and just discarded us in Cinque Terre. My personal stuff was on the coach as the tour leader said we could leave there. We had to buy train tickets and transferred twice (one in La Spezia and one in Pisa) to get back to Florence. One of the transferred train was canceled in the middle of nowhere as well. We suffered a lot that night to get back to Florence. For my personal stuff, we had to wake up at 5am and took the bus to the same meeting point in Florence to take it back. I recommend trying to plan your trip with the train directly. You will save a lot of money and have more time to enjoy the views there. With this group, you are not responsible for making sure you can get back with them unless you buy the high-priced fully escorted trip (eat what they plan and just take a short glance at the views).
