Stretching elegantly between "Piazza Venezia" and the "Colosseum", Via dei Fori Imperiali is a majestic avenue carved through the heart of ancient Rome. Lined with the ruins of the Imperial Fora — Caesar’s, Augustus’, Nerva’s, and Trajan’s — it offers a breathtaking walk through millennia of history. Originally built under Mussolini between 1924 and 1932, the road both reveals and bisects key archaeological zones, making it a dramatic ribbon of civilization where past and present intersect.
Foro Romano
The Roman Forum, also known by its Latin name Forum Romanum, is a rectangular forum surrounded by the ruins of several important ancient government buildings at the center of the city of Rome.The political and business centre of ancient Rome, the warn away paths are covered in history. This is where the citizens came to listen to speeches, to meet the senators or to see people like Julius Caesar or Cicero. The ruins tell a story, and it is the story of Rome and its politics, with the likes of the ancient Curia (the Senate) that is still visible, but also with the impressive marble columns of temples which were erected for the first time in V century BC.

5.00Kai Travel was excellent. From the moment I signed up, they were involved and helping. I initially had to sign up as two groups because we had so many. I was contacted immediately and grouped as one tour together and Euros were returned. I was next contacted about transportation. This was also helpful. Kai travel, Ruth, then made sure all our names were accurate (and given there were many incorrect names transferred to her, her thoroughness may have saved us from refusal at the gate). Communication was clear and regular and of all the trips, this was the most organized and thorough. The tour was fun and perfectly managed for the ages we had. Denis helped us take the perfect pictures. He was so warm. knowledgeable and helpful. He even helped us make reservations for lunch and chose a perfect place. It could not have been better. Thank you Kai Travel for making it a perfect day!!

5.00Denis was an absolutely wonderful guide. He had an exceptional knowledge of the sites, answered questions that were both generic and specific. He not only gave the usual information, but also provided interesting insights I wouldn’t have expected. Dennis was fun to be around and tailored the experience to us. We loved it and will use the Kai team every time we return to Rome. Highly recommend. P.S. We were a gay couple on our honeymoon and Denis and the team were very sweet about it. They are a great choice for any LGBTQ travelers.

5.00Yesterday we had the pleasure of touring the Colosseum and Forum. Our guide Rachella was excellent. The historic sites are amazing and she made them come alive. She has a way of making you feel that you are walking the streets of Ancient Rome. To anybody visiting Rome, we would strongly recommend this tour with Rachella. You will not be disappointed!

5.00This tour was the highlight of our stay in Rome. Our tour guide Denis was incredible and so knowledgeable. He has been giving tours in Rome for 18 years and it shows - he knew everything about the Forum & Colosseum but also shared a much broader context and history of Rome during our tour. I’m so glad we booked this tour and it was well worth it. As others noted, bring plenty of water and wear a hat and comfy shoes.

5.00Put on good shoes and take enough water with you. It is a long walk, including stairs. Next to that is Denis an excellent Guide. Very friendly, and he can answer all you'r questions. And the Tour ofcourse is a voyage back in time. Realy interesting things i didn't know before.

5.00Our guide, Rachelle, did an outstanding job with our group of 15.....ages ranging 6 years-64 years. She was very knowledgeable, attentive to the needs of the group, and had a kind and warm personality. On an extremely busy day, she kept the tour moving and made all in the group feel safe and comfortable. I would highly recommend this tour!
