5.00Wow! What a magnificent day! Beatrice, our tour guide, texted me the night before to provide me with her number so that meeting the next morning would be seamless, and it was. She was waiting right on time, right outside the cruise terminal. She showed us to her clean, comfortable Mercedes SUV, and we were off! From the second the tour started, Beatrice was taking the time to get to know us, learn what was important for us to see during our one day in Rome, made changes to her plan to make sure it happened, and even built in some extra stops. Let me tell you, I don’t think there is anyone in Rome who has a greater knowledge of its history, or who loves this city more! It was amazing to hear her speak of all the facts that she knew about ALL of the locations we went to. I am 100% certain that we saw things that others did not, including those who have been to Rome multiple times. Above and beyond all of that, Beatrice was just simply a joy to spend the day with. She is one of the kindest people I have ever met. We look forward to staying in touch with her and seeing her again when we return to Rome for a longer visit. I could not recommend this tour, this company, and especially Beatrice any more. If you are thinking about a reasonably priced private tour with the best guide in Rome…pick this one. I promise you won’t regret it.

5.00We had an excellent experience on our Ancient Rome Shore Excursion. Viator and the tour company Best Rome Drivers did a stellar job in making the set-up and communications to confirm trip details super easy. Our driver, Claudio, was a true gentleman. He knew exactly where to go to show us all of the highlights of Rome. I would highly recommend this tour and definitely request Claudio!
